Instructions for Property Manager Property Managers have access to all the functions of MarketSurveyTools.com. First Time Setup – Subject Property Login to MarketSurveyTools.com and notice the green and red graphic at the bottom of the page that reads, "First Time Setup" and Click Here. Enter the name of your subject property and click "Create New Market Survey Group". If your new market survey group represents student housing, click "Check this box if this property is a Student Housing property." MarketSurveyTools.com will generate a format especially designed for student housing markets. You have now established the name of your Market Survey. Setup Property General Information You may enter identifying information for your subject property after clicking the initial "Create Property" or by clicking "Properties" on the red navigation bar and choosing "List and Edit Properties." Click on the subject property name and simply fill in the form with correct information. Cross Check Floorplan Pricing Your Property Info page allows you to enter web addresses that go to an online advertisement (i.e. ApartmentGuide.com) for your subject property or competitor. This provides you with a quick cross check to verify that the prices you have on your market survey are correct with prices the property is advertising elsewhere. Go to on online advertisement (i.e. ApartmentGuide.com) for the property you are setting up. Highlight the web address in your Internet browser window.
