Information technology has made important achievements to our world, namely in the medical industry. With the increased use of electronic medical records (EMR), and mobile technologies like tablets and smart phones, making health information available electronically when and where it is needed. physicians and patients are both seeing the benefits that these new medical technologies are bringing. Health information technology provides healthcare providers by accurate and complete information about a patient 's health, which enable the providers to give the best possible care. It provides information to help diagnose health problems sooner, and reduce medical errors. Finally, and not last, HIT provides the secure way to share information with patients and their family.
Medical technology has evolved from introducing doctors to new equipment to use inside private practices and hospitals to connecting patients and doctors thousands of miles away through telecommunications. It is common in today’s world for patients to hold video conferences with physicians to save time and money normally spent on traveling to another geographic location or send health information promptly to any specialist or doctor in the world. Finally, Medical technologies like minimally-invasive surgeries, better monitoring systems, and more comfortable scanning equipment are allowing patients to spend less time in recovery and more time enjoying a healthy life.
I chose health information technology profession because of many reasons first of all, I like working in the medical field especially with data and information. Second reason, Information technology now is the most popular career and the fastest growing industry in the world for that reason there is always...

IT professions could help solving this dilemma by design a special soft wares which help the providers in the conflict diagnosis situations. They can also provide coders with up to date software.
One of the most important issue that face health industry is privacy and security of health information. Risks are a concern due to hackers, identity theft, unauthorized access and corruption of patient data. This problem could be controlled by using the electronic health records, encrypting the computers and laptops, and setting password.
Finally, health industry cannot work or develop without information Technoligy.IT involving the design, development, creation, use and maintenance of information systems for the healthcare industry.
