The information and communication technology (ICT) revolution has widely affected every domain in human life in the last decades. Hence, using the computer has become an important tool in the teaching and learning process. It plays a remarkable role in learning and teaching English as a foreign language (EFL). Therefore, it is very important to prepare the new generations with the computers and its applications.
Thus, the value of computer-assisted language learning (CALL) has been increased in education. It has helped solve many problems of students and teachers, in conjunction with the increasing importance of EFL, as it is the language of communication all over the world according to different field needs in Saudi Arabia. As a result, researchers have tried to integrate CALL into the process of learning and teaching as they believe that the computer is an effective aid that can change and develop the educational field.
On the other hand, writing is one of the basic skills in the process of acquiring EFL. Also, it is a productive skill. It is considered the most difficult skill among the four basic skills. Writing is considered an effective tool to communicate with others by expressing thoughts, feelings, and opinions. Al-Jumaily (2014) defines writing as "the process of using symbols to communicate ideas. It is a system/method of representing language in visual or tactile form. It 's the mirror that reflects/shows one 's knowledge about a language." (p.125)

...erstanding of grammar where students make errors when they write a paragraph or a text. Therefore, they face difficulties in doing their writing tasks and this causes difficulty in arranging their writing properly.
Furthermore, at present, some level of writing skills are required as Huy (2015) asserted, "Most contexts of life (school, the workplace, and the community) call for some level of writing skill, and each context makes overlapping, but not identical, demands proficient writers can adapt their writing flexibly to the context in which it takes place." (p.56)
For all these factors, there is a need for learning writing skills in a more accessible way. Hence, this study attempts to investigate their attitudes towards it, in addition to the barriers, which faced them, and limit their usage of such tool, and hinder the development of their writing skills.
