My paper is going to focus on the influence of the event that took place in Poland in 2012, namely UEFA European Football Championship 2012, how it has changed different ranges of polish economy and what could be possible further changes in development of this country. Sport championships are great growth opportunity, especially for developing countries about which was loud last time. This is a pull factor of advantages which can happen in certain country. This kind of event could only make the economy better. The same assumptions, we can personalize with the event, that took place in Poland in 2012, “The UEFA EURO 2012”, which was I believe one of the largest Polish projects in recent years. I will analyze how event affected the Polish economy, what are today visible effects, and what may be in the future. Deduction effects for the future will be based on various sources of the changes in components of gross domestic product (GDP), and what are the factors of these changes.
Poland is a developing country in the central Europe. Looking on this type of influence it is worth to figure out how the international interaction event, can influence the growth of Poland, as an example of a developing country. The goal of this paper is to check and evaluate the changes in the district of Polish GDP. The comparison of the economic situation of Poland, before the Championships, during, and after them in different concepts of long time and shirt time period, and effects event seen currently in polish economic situation. I will focus on GDP and how different ranges of economy has influenced it.

A strong year in 2000 was followed by an average of .6% growth rate from 2001-2005. Germany was affected by the world’s economic status, which caused a drop in German exports. Since exports are one of the largest contributors to Germany’s GDP, it caused the their economy to slow. In conclusion, Solidarity was a movement that helped change the course of two continents. It was a movement by the people and for the people. The iron grip of communism was destroyed, and democracy was born throughout Eastern Europe. Solidarity will always be remembered as the revolution that succeeded where so many others had failed. Today in Polish politics Solidarity's role is somewhat limited, and it has reverted back more toward the role of a more traditional trade union than a political party. The summer of 2005 marked the 25th anniversary of the Solidarity movement, and was a time to remember the hardships of its humble beginnings and to celebrate the changes those hardships inspired across the continent” (Local Life 1). First, minimizing the effects of international sports events help viewing rates and average spectators visiting the stadium to rise. Korea had experience of losing baseball fans when the 2002 World Cup was held in Korea and its impact was critical to baseball industry. Therefore, minimizing the outcome of major international sports events is now necessary for Korean baseball. As to WBC, it helped Korean baseball pro-league to be popular again as the event started before the season and mobilized people’s interests in baseball. As for other sports events, pro-league wasn’t hugely affected by the 2006 World Cup in Germany because 2006 WBC was successful and Korean national soccer team failed to go to round of 16. Therefore, in some way, the minimizing the effects of international sports games was successful. This year, Korean baseball is once again facing the Brazil World Cup and also, Asian Games. If they go through this year’s World Cup smoothly and Korean national baseball team wins gold medal in Asian Games, which is going to be held in Incheon, Korea, Korean baseball may still be the most popular sports.
The enlargement of the European Union (EU) in 2004 and 2007 has been termed as the largest single expansion of the EU with a total of 12 new member states – bringing the number of members to 27 – and more than 77 million citizens joining the Commission (Murphy 2006, Neueder 2003, Ross 2011). A majority of the new member states in this enlargement are from the eastern part of the continent and were countries that had just emerged from communist economies (EC 2009, Ross 2011), although overall, the enlargement also saw new member states from very different economic, social and political compared to that of the old member states (EC 2009, Ross 2011). This enlargement was also a historical significance in European history, for it saw the reunification of Europe since the Cold War in a world of increasing globalization (EC 2009, Mulle et al. 2013, Ross 2011). For that, overall, this enlargement is considered by many to have been a great success for the EU and its citizens but it is not without its problems and challenges (EC 2009, Mulle et al. 2013, Ross 2011). This essay will thus examine the impact of the 2004/2007 enlargements from two perspectives: firstly, the impact of the enlargements on the EU as a whole, and thereafter, how the enlargements have affected the new member states that were acceded during the 2004/2007 periods.
