Industrial regulation:
This is when the government intervenes and puts up measures which seek to regulate the activities of a particular industry. For instance the government can put a limit on the number of vehicles that can be exported within a certain period. A company which exports beyond set limits will be breaking the law. The government use agencies and law enforcers to ensure that the industry follows the set regulations.
Regulations occur because industries if left alone without regulation would exploit the consumer by charging high prices so as to increase on their profits. Thus the government intervenes so as to protect the customer. Industrial regulations are also brought about by government seeking to protect infant local industries which do not have the financial and economic advantages compared to the large multinational companies. Hence the government restricts importation of the products manufactured by local industries so as to give them a chance to market and sell their products (Giorgi & Noia & Piatti, 2000).
Effects of industrial regulation to the market:
The market reacts differently depending on the goal of the regulatory goals and objectives. If the aim was to protect the consumer by preventing the traders from hiking prices, then the traders might reiterate by reducing the level of production and thus creating a shortage. This usually happens if the producers and the traders were not necessarily making huge profits
If the regulations were put in place after an agreement between the various players in the market, then it will be accepted. As a result products will be sold in a fair and reasonable price hence increasing their demand. Consequently the producers will produce more to satisfy the huge mar...

It has moved from an exclusive power of the national government to regulate the trade of good and services on an international level to include interstate activities. The nation is growing and new problems are continuing to emerge. The commerce clause has to adjust also, in order to meet the demands of the changing world and its’ needs. The federal government still has the power to regulate interstate commerce. It still remains the reason for the increased federal regulation on the economy. The national economy is growing. It is no surprise to see that areas such as agriculture, finance industry and other services have increased and been included in laws governing these areas

In this assignment I am going to describe three different Health and Safety legislations that promote the safety of individuals within a health and social care setting.
In an efficient market, price increase brought about by a crisis of otherwise is natural. Due to surge in demand, people cannot get the same product at the original price during shortage. Without an increase in the price, the shortage will become worse as sellers will not have the incentive to avail more products in the market. A Price increase gives sellers an incentive to provide more of a product in the product and price goes down to an economically efficient price. Because price gouging is banned in most jurisdictions, rationing the product is done through bribing and first-come-first-served basis. Price gouging is opposed because in a crisis, supply in the short run is perfectly inelastic as shown below.
Regulatory implies principles in addition to legislation. Every single country get own principles in addition to legislation so company needs to abide by unique principles. The item effects upon submission in addition to promotion as well.
In my opinion, there really isn't any reason to block/terrif imports unless they are illegal items. Some have good intentions but end up causing more harm. For example, the book says on page 427 that if there were a terrif on tennis shoes thus increasing the price of tennis shoes from $30 to $60, it would help the tennis shoe business. But, now there will be less demand for shoes because of the high price, and the company would have to lower the price to attract customers. It might even have to decrease the price all the way back down to $30. Since labor wages are a lot higher in America, they might not be able to afford to stay in business because of the lack of sales. The only way for this to be solved would be to move over to China, therefore
Regulations have general application that means that all the member states have to adopt the regulation; the member state is expected to adopt the whole regulation. Regulations are directly applicable which means that the "individuals have rights that they can enforce in their own name through national courts"(2).
needs of business. The big business and business leaders influenced the regulation and the government worked for
This book also elaborates on the study of rulemaking by giving examples through cases, studies, loads of government documentation and interviews with policy makers. Following the information and chapters is really easy. The book is illustrated with clear tables, charts, and figures. Each chapter is clearly defined and tables/figures are clearly marked after the table of contents.
The open market is filled with such competition that producers are unable to compete in the market against the larger companies and develop countries. Laws have been enacted to protect the small producers and the consumers from harm. To fix this dilemma, we must provide equal opportunity in the open markets. The unfair practices of monopolization, the continuous price fixing will keep our markets unequally attainable and high prices will keep the money of consumer in their pockets. If these practices are allowed to continue, turning our heads and ignoring the problem will not make it go away. It is all about fair trading in the markets and fair prices for the consumer.
Regulations are entrenched in licensures and inspections of providers and organizations in order to provide the practice of safe medical care to its recipients and to hold providers responsible for their actions and performances. Regulatory standards improve the safety of consumers’ health and quality of care through regular yearly inspections performed by regulatory bodies to monitor and evaluate facilities and providers for occurrences of violations. Regulation compliance requirements in these areas are necessary to ensure that consumers are receiving safe and proper care to meet their healthcare needs in order to serve three purposes.
The ability for the federal government to regulate businesses’ activity is given in the Constitution. Article 1, Section 8 is known as the commerce clause; it states, “Congress shall have the Power…to regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes” (Reed, 173). Through the commerce clause, the government is able to regulate business activity by the use of administrative agencies, which is defined as “a governmental regulatory body that controls and supervises a particular activity or area of public interest and administers and enforces a particular body of law related to that activity or interest” (Administrative Agency, 1). There are two types of regulatory authority that agencies may possess; quasi-legislative and/or quasi-judicial. Quasi-legislative means that agencies can make rules and regulations that have the same impact as a law created by federal legislation. Quasi-judicial authority gives agencies the power to make rulings, just like in federal courts.
Many chosen profession have distinctive expectations which are important to both employers and employees. Companies are looking for ways to preserve the environment and go green in their work environment. Along with this they are required to adhere to safety factors using Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards that your particular career must follow. OSHA regulations consist of standards designed to guarantee the American workplace is free of safety and health hazards. OSHA, or the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, is a division of the United States Department of Labor that enforces the Occupational Safety and Health regulations.
One of the pros of public policies is that government actions, decisions and programs are not just at the national level, but state and local level. The government is making policies that addresses issues from education, healthcare, national defense, as well as, criminal justice.
