But money can be a huge factor in achieving happiness. It is important to realize that saying, “money cannot buy happiness,” can be a dangerous phrase to live by.
On one hand, it is just plan bad advice to live by; it is counterproductive to someone’s life satisfaction and happiness. Since money can contribute to happiness, then it is an important ingredient and component to living a happy life and by insisting this is not true it can close off the essential route to happiness. It closes off the path that could bring individuals to gain these values that make them overall more satisfied. To console individuals away from money could hinder their ability to eventually be a happy person.
On a more important level, to drive people away from the pursuit of happiness, actually knowing the things it can make possible and it can fulfillment a better overall life, would be discouraging the journey to find happiness. Therefore that would have an overall negative impact on someone’s
