Hunting
Hunting has rapidly increased in popularity over the past few years. According to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services, the population of hunters grew nine percent since 2011(“Press Release”), but so has the population of discriminators. More and more people have come to the conclusion that hunting is inhumane and is sometimes known as slaughtering ("Brazosport College Library Research Database Access"). Hunting is not inhumane or against any rules. Human beings have been hunting since our earliest existence; it is a fundamental part of our nature.
People think hunters are predators and that we kill animals just to kill them and leave them there to rot. Hunters are considered predators, but we don’t just do it to kill, we do it, mainly, because wild game meat is healthier ("Brazosport College Library Research Database Access"). Wild game is one of the most common and, for the most part, the healthiest and most delicious meat, compared to farm raised animal meat, such as cow, pig, and sheep. As most may know, wild game, mainly deer, elk, etc., are very active, which makes their meat lower in fat than farm raised game. They eat natural grown food, which is healthier than grain and corn, which is what farm raised animals eat. Even though grain and corn are, for the most part, healthy, they are full of fatty contents that make the animals’ fat("Wild Game Meat"). Plus, farm raised animals are known by being some of the laziest animals, because of the amount of fat they eat. Wild game have miles and miles of rangeland, sometimes mountainous, that they walk everyday. This means they work off most of the fat they gain by eating corn given by hunters, plus the healthy plants they eat when they don’t have corn to feed off of. Farm...

Even though some people don’t agree with hunting, it does help both the animal and the human populations. If hunting is outlawed, like what they want to happen, animals will die faster and at a higher number, rather than hunting them and keeping the population normal. Hunting is not inhumane or against any rules. Human beings have been hunting since our earliest existence; it is a fundamental part of our nature.
