There are many fast food places to choose from in the southwest region of the country. Two of the most common fast food restaurants are In-N-Out Burger and Jack in the Box. I have personally been employed at both of these establishments. The difference between the two is quality, price, and working environment. One of the major differences between the two restaurants is the quality of their food and their services better provided to the customer. In-N-Out Burger is all 100% fresh product. The meat is never frozen, the lettuce is handpicked every day, and the potatoes are peeled and diced daily. The meat that In-N-Out receives is fresh and needs to be prepared in order for the restaurant to serve it. The morning crew arrives at 6am to do many things and one of those duties is to prepare the meat for the day. They have to shape, and season the meat before it can be pressed and cooked. The truck comes everyday with the calculated amount of sales. However, Jack in the Box receives frozen product. Calculated sales weekly and the trucks come only two days a week. The lettuce arrives at the store pre-cut and ready for use in the restaurant. Everything that comes off the truck just needs to be heated-up in order to serve. Another difference is the quality of the stores employees. In-N-Out Burger’s employees always have a positive attitude. They will always go out of their way to make sure all customers are 100% satisfied. The employees make sure that every visit is one to remember and that the customer will always come back for that amazing customer service. Conversely, Jack in the Box’s employees is quite different. Their employees are careless, and have negative attitudes. They do not care if customers are un-satisfied. Their service ... ... middle of paper ... ...forms and the company is forced to trust them to wash their work clothes before their next shift. Which in my time there, I have observed that most employees do not show up in clean uniforms. The employees can get away with a lot of hygiene-based issues. Jack in the Box only has one manager and then an assistant manager. The store is always low on people for daily-required shifts, making those days of work more difficult. Experiences show at both In-N-Out Burger and Jack in the Box how they do business is incomparable. Quality, price, and the working environment play a big role in the restaurant industry. In-N-Out outweighs Jack in the Box by far. I would encourage anyone to take their business to In-N-Out Burger over any other fast food restaurants. In- N-Out is clearly the better choice. Every customer will enjoy the great customer service and the delicious food.
...rted In-N-Out Burger where their philosophy was simple “Give customers the freshest, highest quality foods you can buy and provide them with friendly service in a sparkling clean environment.”
Pizza Ranch has many factors that make it shine over Pizza Hut. The main reason that it is a better restaurant is because Pizza Ranch has friendlier service than Pizza Hut. Pizza Ranch goes even further to creating a great environment for its guests because it offers Buffet Your Way and fast service, so that each customer can walk out of Pizza Ranch with a full stomach and a big smile on their face. These factors combine with cleanliness to give Pizza Ranch a great environment. In the end, the debate between Pizza Ranch pizza and Pizza Hut pizza will always be based on personal opinion, but all of the other factors that Pizza Ranch has makes it a better restaurant than Pizza Hut. Because Pizza Ranch has friendly service, Buffet Your Way, fast service, a clean atmosphere, and amazing pizza, it is a better restaurant than Pizza Hut.
Panera Bread’s setting has neat and clean tables that allow a person to have a sense of ease when eating their food. There is always an employee responsible for cleaning and ensuring a neat dining area for the costumers. McDonald’s dining area is a burden when children create messes and leave tables unclean by their parents. Many of McDonald’s employees are too busy to be aware of the messes that are in the dining area to actually clean up before another costumer sits down with a meal. McDonald’s condiment section is saturated in ketchup and spilt drinks that create a sticky area, unable to be touched. When other costumers see a dirty area, they are more likely to throw trash or unwanted items that create a bigger mess. Thus, hygiene plays an important key in public restaurants. Proper hygiene allows somewhat a pure environment from bacteria and essentially a safer place to
Nancy Perry said, “Changing your pay plan is a big risk, but not changing it could be a bigger one.”1 If there is a time for Jack in the Box to take a chance, the time is now. This current year is the first time in United States history that Americans spent more money at restaurants and bars than in grocery stores. Our strategy for both Jack in the Box and Qdoba will help the company take advantage of this trend.
McDonald's and Fox's Diner are two of the restaurants in Lake City, Tennessee. But even though they both sell hamburgers in the same town, they don't have anything else in common. They cater to different types of customers, there is a noticeable difference in service speed, and every facet of doing business is handled differently. Even the atmosphere of these two places is in contrast.
Chipotle is my favorite place to eat. As I am sure it is for other people. Chipotle is a fast food Mexican grill. They are most known for how big they make your burritos. Now it is fast food but it isn’t actually fast, they’re like a restaurant but without the wait. They serve all naturally raised meat and organic beans. So there food is pretty healthy and worth eating. The employees are always nice and it just a great place to eat over all. Chipotle is a great choice for a quick fast food stop because it gives great service, atmosphere, food and value. My experience there is always a good one.
The term “fast-food” is usually distinguished by food served very quickly to a customer by drive-through or carry-out. Fast-food restaurants are highly associated with low-cost and malnutrition foods with brief consumer and employee interaction, and below average cleanliness based on restaurant health inspection reports. Chick-fil-A has changed the usual perception of fast-food restaurants. Rather than burgers and potato fries, Chick-fil-A serves chicken sandwiches and waffle fries. Chick-fil-A also shows their appreciation for employee to customer relations, rather than ignoring the social aspect of serving customers when operating at a fast pace. Chick-fil-A’s menu selection, customer interaction, and clean eating
First of all, the ways In-N-Out Burger and Fast Food Nation display the facts are quite different. In In-N-Out Burger, Perman introduces many episodes with details. In the middle of the chapter, she quotes what many celebrities actually said about the burgers, wh...
The fast-food industry is changing everyday. There are new products being introduced in the market and new slogans being created. The companies in the fast-food industry will do their best to make the greater burger, and to make bigger and better fries.

Another strength is Burger King’s franchise development having 90% of its restaurants franchised. The franchise concept allowed the company to grow with minimal capital expenditure and receive royalties and fees. There are many things you can converse about when comparing these two topics. The first topic to compare is the price of the food at each restaurant. All in all, Mcdonald’s is cheaper than Burger King in several ways. Mcdonald’s
First, fast food and home-cooked meals differ in the time. The people choose fast food because they do not have time to prepare a proper meal and it can be prepared very quickly. Jekanowski, Binkley, and Eales (2001) claimed that fast food outlets’ main sales point is convenience. The fast food companies open a lot of branches in the different area so that the customers just need a few minutes to buy a set of fast food even it is complete with a drink.
McDonalds provide high quality products, such as burgers, fries, drinks, muffins, etc, which are safe and reliable that it does what it is supposed to do, but not only does the quality of the products matter, the good value for money affects the business. E.g. buy one extra value meal and get one free with a food voucher that represents the offer only. They ensure that a high standard of the product is carried out at all times and they try to compete very competitively with other fast food businesses with their good value for money. Also a customer would know if the product is good value for money by checking in another food outlet like KFC for their services and products.
Burger King delivers value to their customers through their products, prices, and place and promotion strategies - (“BK doesn’t just promise value, they actually deliver value”). Burger king has been in existence for 60 years and is growing rapidly in many other countries. Burger King delivers quality, great tasting food which satisfies ones need or wants and captures the value of customers even before the first purchase is made. Burger King has products very unique from other competitors such as KFC and McDonalds. The difference is that Burger King does not limit their customers in terms of what they eat. For example, when I spoke to a customer also big fan of Burger King, he mentioned that the sauces are left public for the customer to decide on which sauce to have rather than giving the customer one kind of sauce such as McDonalds and KFC. The cold beverage is also self-help service in which customers can help themselves to a bottomless drink. This way the customer feels free to choose what satisfies the need or want.
