This course has helped me a lot in developing my writing skills. I have learnt to improve the content and formation of the sentences. The growth is comprised of many other elements that make my writing better. I have become much more confident in writing essays and composing responses towards different topics. This growth came from a lot of practice and the techniques that were taught to me during the course. There are several aspects of this improvement that I would like to mention. However, my best work in terms of writing so far is the essay I wrote upon the topic ‘How to Live’. This was a very different topic as it did not have any technical base to support the facts. There were no scientific evidences to support the research. It was more like a self-reflection essay in which one had to analyze their point of view about life. My writing used to contain many errors. I was not good in spellings and vocabulary. I could study a lot but I did not find myself confident in paraphrasing the sentences properly and thus there used to be many technical issues in my papers. During this course I was guided throughout by my mentors and peers which helped me develop the skill of writing. I learnt slowly because it took me a lot of time in understanding the technical aspects of writing and following a certain format but I am now a confident academic writer and I still aspire to grow in terms of writing
