First, when people think of teamwork they think of a group of people coming together to get a certain job completed in a particular manner. This could be true, but there is more to it than that if you was to do a survey and ask several people. The survey could reflect many things and show that teamwork is something that makes people, the company, and the clients all work and come together better. In turn, this makes a good team and allows things to be completed correctly and on time. The workers look good, the company looks good, and so does the project that has been completed by the group. This an all-around win for everyone involved in the process.
Second, without a good strong team there is really no teamwork to be discussed in the workplace. “Teamwork offers advantages such as increased productivity, a heightened sense of morale and improved staff efficiency. One of the key elements in creating a good team is proper communication. To develop effective team communication, you need to understand how communication affects teamwork positively and negatively” (Root). I too agree people should be more aware of their communication skills and how to project them in a team setting and at work. When people know how to utilize their people skills as well as communication skills things become a lot better for themselves as well as everyone around them working together. These skills should be brushed up on daily to be a better a better person, employee, and a team player.
Also, I feel that another good reason for continuing have good team work is setting your demands up front. State what you want and do not want from the company. If you want certain days off, vacation, mileage to meetings, or other incentives let them be known up front s...

I this process it allows everyone to review the material and make corrections as needed to make it the best it can be before being released. All this is because teamwork works and betters people. I have learned a lot of beneficial things from this class. I know now how to be a better leader and coworker in my place of employment. Even though I own my own business this class has helped me better my relationships with my employees. I know now how to better assist them and back them in everything we do. I know to encourage them, respect them, and most of all praise them for their work daily. The book for the class has thought me the more the employee feels appreciated the better the employee will do in the team setting.
