Second, without a good strong team there is really no teamwork to be discussed in the workplace. “Teamwork offers advantages such as increased productivity, a heightened sense of morale and improved staff efficiency. One of the key elements in creating a good team is proper communication. To develop effective team communication, you need to understand how communication affects teamwork positively and negatively” (Root). I too agree people should be more aware of their communication skills and how to project them in a team setting and at work. When people know how to utilize their people skills as well as communication skills things become a lot better for themselves as well as everyone around them working together. These skills should be brushed up on daily to be a better a better person, employee, and a team player.
