Being ethical as a leader is essential to insuring we remain on the right path and lead by example, (Lawler, 2003). People will follow an ethical leader because they trust in their decisions and know they will make the right call that will benefit the organization. In order to make tough decisions a leader must have the edge, they must be willing to engage in order to successfully bring about change, (Lawler, 2003). A leader that has the ability to energize people is a leader that gets things done, (Lawler, 2003). They are motivators that have a positive attitude which is also essential in creating change. They are fearless in their commitment and determined in will power.
