The Importance of an Education
Not to specifically blame the parents for the teen get pregnant. Although the teens have not taken fault for their actions, but need to be aware for future references. Sex education should be taught in high school. According to these organizations, only about 50% of teen mothers have a high school diploma compared with 90% of girls who did not have a teen pregnancy. Fewer than four in 10 (38%) teen girls who have a child before they turn 18 earn their high school diploma. Fewer than 2% of teens who have a baby before the age of 18 obtain a college degree by age 30 (“socialworktoday”). Teen mothers are less likely to graduate from high school and more likely than their peers who delay childbearing to live in poverty and to rely on welfare (Hoffman, 2006). I encourage Sex Education in schools... to explain and show the outcomes of teen pregnancy and STD's that are spreading much faster throughout our nation, because parents have not taken a few moments to explain and elaborate into specific detail on this trending topic ("U.S. Teen Pregnancy Rate Continues to Fall ").

The most effective prevention of pregnancy is abstinence. They envision that just because they are protected against pregnancy they are safe. No! That’s totally false because there are many complications that come with not using a condom. Having sex without using a condom can put in high risk catching a Std. in the listed below are some of the different types of birth control young girls can use to protect themselves:

... they can achieve it, it is achievable! Although there are many teenagers today who still do not realize the importance of using the contraceptives. That are available and making sure they are being responsible with them. Delaying sexual activity, ignoring peer pressure and the use of contraceptives will help reduce the huge number of teen pregnancies in the United States. When parents and role models tell their teen is important to wait for sex and see that other young girls are going through hard struggles. Seeing what someone else encountered inform the teens they should listen to adults and wait or be safe. Because knowing how to protecting yourself is key to not become pregnant and or catching a sexual transmitted diseases. Teens also need to learn there are more options than just the comma ways everyone know of deal with a teen who becomes a mother or father.
