A virtue wrong handled can become a weakness and a weakness well handled can become a virtue. That is a pledge which I have been using through my life in order to succeed. It is important for people to know themselves. It is necessary for people to know their virtues and weaknesses in order to develop skills that can be useful in life. When I took those four surveys I did learn about myself and reaffirmed some beliefs that I had before. I will use the findings of those surveys to improve myself as a person and as a student. If I manage to develop my skills in life I will be able to overcome any obstacle. Also, I am going to plan my life using those surveys in order to be successful. It was interesting for me to know that I am a person who cares about others and who wants to …show more content…
If I use all my strengths and handled my weaknesses correctly, I will become a great student and an excellent professional. I realized that I wanted to become an engineer in order to discover new technologies and to help people; therefore, I will find solutions for the different problems that the society nowadays has, using my engineering skills. Moreover, I will use my interpersonal skills often in the future in order to reach my goals. I am going to use those skills to interact with more people in order to exchange ideas and to develop new concepts that can help the entire world. I reaffirmed my career choice when I took those surveys because I can use my planning and intuition skills in order to be an excellent engineer. I will use my planning skills in the future developing long time plans that are going to be useful for the entire world and will make a difference in the life of many people. Therefore, I learned at the end of the interview that this career that I chose to pursue is very diverse. Meaning, there are endless routes, that branches out from this one field of study. The possibilities are endless; however, hard work is still expected. This interview did not reshape my objectives and goals. It has rather made me realize to stick to my goals and objectives. It has reminded me, to continue to be the best; by learning from the best and surrounding myself with the best.
The earliest glimpse of my future was at an elementary career day years ago. When I filled out what I was going to dress up as I wrote the word, “farmacist.” My mom was a pharmacist and I looked up to her and wanted to be just like her! So when career day rolled around I dressed in a white coat carrying a big bottle full of M&M’s to dispense to my classmates. Now so many years later here I am actually about to take on graduate school and follow in my mother’s footsteps to become a pharmacist. Of course my career path has been less than a straight line from “farmasist” to pharmacist. My passion and talent for math and science in high school allowed me to seriously consider a career in engineering. However, the more I considered engineering, the more there seemed to be something missing. As much as I loved solving problems I did not see
Do you remember what it felt like to be a teen and wonder what your future would become? That is right where I am at. As a freshman in high school, I have begun thinking about what my future in life will be. Which school, what career path, and where? All of these options are very overwhelming. At the moment, I would like to follow the path of engineering, manufacturing, and technology, and pursue college degrees in computer science and mechanical engineering. In order to achieve my dream, I can use background career knowledge, ACT test requirements, and habits designed to help you get to where you want to go.
Considering I am close to my parents, the way that I chose my important personal traits was by selecting features that if omitted, would make interacting with my mom and dad more challenging. I selected trust and respect for my vital personal traits, for my chief professional traits I selected diligence and responsibility. I start by explaining what these characteristics consist of, provide an example of how I exhibit these traits, and how they relate to society. Lastly, I compare trust with the other three traits, address any conflicts that exist when applying these traits, and suggest some ways to solve these conflicts.
Why do we choose the things in life such as the career you want to do for some this is a hard question to answer but for me it is easy. I chose the career as an electrical contractor doing residential, industrial, and commercial work. I was interested in the career mainly because i am good at problem solving and figuring out what it takes to create power to something. In this speech, i will outline the job description, preparation and advantage/disadvantage of a career in electrical systems.
My career path has been chosen for me through heredity, as my length of time on Earth has been pre-determined by the Great Creator. How I choose to use this time will be referred to as my success statement of life. How I am remembered will depend on what I accomplish. In short, life is given, but not guaranteed. We all have the choices before us, which determine if life is easy or difficult. Many times, I had the option of all or nothing, and for some reason chose all every time. In this paper, I will explore my present career as a manufacturing engineer, a career interest as a plant manager, and the value of a college education to organizations, customers, and myself.
Engineering is a professional career and thus much is expected out of them. Morals and values must be incorporated into the work of an engineer based on his/her own believes and those of the company. In today’s age, money speaks. Profit is a huge concern of companies even to the point where violations and infractions of the law are committed. Just to name a few immoral acts in engineering include: plagiarism, bribery, and whistleblowing. Whistleblowing can be either good or bad. It could save lives, but could also get one fired. Bribery, however, is a very deceptive act and can lead to actions being taken that otherwise would not have been. Bribery breaks many of the cannons in the NSPE Code of Ethics and thus should be taken seriously.
I reconsidered what skills I need to improve, what training I need to take and how my values match up with my desired job. Also, it made me think about how I can combine some therapy models to provide a more effective intervention to child & adolescent population. Considering these factors in advance will be helpful in the job interviews. Since I must have concrete ideas about my career to coherently explain my goals in the job interview and to take a meaningful step for my professional improvement. On the other hand, I had vague ideas regarding my career components, before this
I know that the major I chose as an electrical engineer is not an easy one, but I also know that this is the best fit for me, and that I chose the right one. Engineering has been a key interest of mine since childhood. While still in grade school I enjoyed listening to my father, an electrical engineer, teach me about advances in technology, and was always eager to hear more. I was introduced to my first computer at the age of five, and have loved interacting with them ever since. My decision to study engineering as a career was no surprise to those who knew me.

Right from my school days, I have always shown a high degree of competence and interest in subjects like Mathematics and Science. I scored 88 marks in Mathematics & 84 marks in Science in Secondary School (10th standard). It was with this motivation that I took up the Science stream in my senior school. I completed my senior school with first class grade. My fairly good performance at secondary and senior school gave me the confidence to take Engineering as my career.
Electrical engineering is a building science that applies power in an innovative and down to earth way. Outside of the United States, electrical engineering is thought to be centered on extensive scale frameworks, for example, force and hardware building to be centered on little scale frameworks, for example, PCs. An option refinement alludes to electrical engineering as the study and utilization of power to transmit vitality and hardware building as the study and use of power to process frameworks. In the United States, there is no such qualification, and the refinement is turning out to be less authoritative in different parts of the world also, as the developing field of force hardware joins components of both.
