An organization that plans to be successful should implement a work scope with each employee that mandates the amalgamation of a prosocial behavior module to increase employee satisfaction and motivation. There are countless explanations on why or how workers may become discouraged or disgruntled in regards to their occupation. As a result, employees may start to lack in productivity and efficiency. Some factors that can be associated with this ineptitude may include the work environment, insufficient wages, and even the lack of enticing incentives.
Improving the percentage of employee satisfaction can be accomplished by means of implementing an employee satisfaction instrument such as a basic yet convoluted survey. The data and results from the survey will allow employers to learn additional information about their workforce, what tactics can be utilized to create a sense of enthusiasm, and what methods have proved to be unsuccessful thus far. The plan intended to improve employee satisfaction consists of assigning tasks that are similar in nature to multiple employees. Each worker will be asked to complete one task independently and then another one in a team or group setting.
According to Cherry (2015), “self-efficacy is the belief in one’s capabilities to organize and execute the courses of action required to manage prospective situations." In other words, self-efficacy is practically the certainty put forth by an individual who possesses confidence in their natural ability to regulate motivation, behavior, and stress factors in an environment. According to Fisher (2013), “Discussion fees must include the cost of the assessment and payment schedule and should be consistent with requirements of Standard 6.04, Fees and Financial Arrangements.” Each subject will be reminded on a daily basis that they can discontinue this study at any given time without the fear of being terminated from employment. This case study mandated that all of the participants were given a consent form to prevent any ethical concerns in regards to personal or psychological harm. Furthermore, each participant was given the option to remain anonymous during the survey-taking process to protect the subjects’ confidentiality and avoid risk of being reprimanded for criticizing or defaming their employers.
