This class has helped me understand what I like in a future job and figure out what jobs that I find appealing in the sports industry. Taking this class has helped me gain insight into different aspects of sports that I have never really thought of before, like how companies not many people think about make their money on selling certain parts of the bat or the bat itself. The class has helped me expand my way of thinking and how I watch sports, so when I see an advertisement on television or if I see them put a highlight reel together I find it interesting on how stuff are made. They are important and would be able to mentor you and show you the ropes so that you can understand how to work in the sports field. I personally connected with Kyle Leunissien and he worked at EnterSports Management, which is a sports and music agency and help represent players and musicians. All that it took was me walking up to him and talking to him after class about what he does and I was already really intrigued with what he did, and knew that it would be something I want to do after graduating college. I actually have been contacting with him back and forth about me possibly interning for him over the summer and helping him set dates for players and help him get venues for his players, which I owe to this class. Before meeting him I didn’t know exactly what I wanted to pertain too, I just knew that I wanted it to do with football at the professional level but now I know I want to do player personnel, which is just working with players whether it be as a team or as an agent. Unfortunately, I was not able to volunteer for Kyle, because he has had to much going on and didn’t have time to show me how to do certain things that would take him 2 minutes to do. I had to look else where, and then my tennis coach that coached me when I was young asked if I could help him out with some things for coaching a camp over
