Recommended: Role of illuminati in modern political events
The Illuminati is a secret society that was established in the late 18th century. Not long after it was created, it was supposedly abolished completely. However, many people believe that the Illuminati still exists today. While the Illuminati is an exceedingly broad topic with many conspiracies involved, the supposed actions of the modern-day Illuminati and the New World Order conspiracy theory are the main topics.
Whether someone believes the Illuminati exists today or not does not change the fact that the Illuminati did, in fact, exist in the late 18th century. The Illuminati, a secret society, was founded in 1776 by Adam Weishaupt (“The Illuminati” par. 1). Adam Weishaupt was a former Jesuit [type of education and a branch off of Catholicism] and professor at the University of Ingolstadt in Germany (“The Illuminati” par. 1). Adam Weishaupt created the Illuminati (which was funded by the International Bankers) in hopes of creating a “one world government” (talked about later) and subjugating all religions and governments in the process (“History of the Illuminati” par. 1). “Some trace the Illuminati back to the Knights Templar, to Gnostic cults, to ancient Egypt, and even to Atlantis” (“The Illuminati” par. 2). Even though the Illuminati started in the 1760’s, some people believe it was started much earlier than that. The Illuminati claim that they helped the Revolutionary War along to weaken the British and to starting the French Revolution to destroy the French Empire (“History of the Illuminati” par. 2). “At their height, the Illuminati claimed over two thousand members…including Goethe, Herder, and many other prominent nobles and reformers” (“The Illuminati” par. 4). However, the Bavarian government started to make secret s...

Another popular conspiracy theory contains the Illuminati society. The Order of the Illuminati was an Enlightenment-age secret society founded by university professor Adam Weishaupt on May 1, 1776, in Upper Bavaria, Germany. The movement consisted of advocates of freethought, secularism, liberalism, republicanism, and gender equality. In 1785, the order was infiltrated, broken up and suppressed by the government agents of Charles Theodore, However, there is no evidence that the Bavarian Illuminati survived its suppression in 1785 (“History of Beliefs”, 2006).

Cults have existed throughout history since the beginning of time. A cult is defined in Webster’s dictionary as a “system of religious worship with a devoted attachment to a person, principle, etc.” Over the past thirty years numerous religious cults have caused “ tens of thousands to abandon their families, friends, education’s, and careers to follow the teaching of a leader they will never meet”(Beck 78).
During 1869-2014 the Sicilian mafia in America evolved in a number of ways such as: the change in rules, leaders, how it is run, the change in code and power over American society. These topics will be covered throughout this essay and will give you a detailed explanation furthermore the history of the evolution that took place. The Sicilian Mafia started in poor Sicilian ghettos in America and spread into the cities striking fear into the American society. With around 2,500 members it is seen as the most powerful and the most active Italian organized criminal group in the United States of America. The Sicilian mafia is more commonly known as La Cosa Nostra.
The Mafia was first started in the ninth century, in Sicily. At this time, Arab forces were occupying Sicily. The natives were being oppressed, so they took refuge in the surrounding hills and formed a secret society to protect against the foreign invaders. This secret society was named Mafia, after the Arabic word for refuge. The society's intentions were to create a sense of family, based on ancestry and Sicilian heritage.
The most common and popular organized crime system is the mafia. This organized crime unit was originated in closely knit immigrant groups that did not trust local authorities. The mafia is also known as the La Cosa Nostra or the mob. The name mob was an umbrella name of clandestine organizations in Sicily and the United States. The mafia reached the United States in the early twentieth century. Newly arrived Italians in the United States spoke little to no English. They clustered in the same neighb...
When people think of organized crime they think of the Italian mob and the Russian mafia. They are the ones that they see in movies and on television, and the ones that they hear about the most. However, they were created a couple centuries after their Asian counterparts, the Yakuza in Japan, and the Triads in China. These Asian syndicates were founded in the sixteenth and seventeenth century and consisted of merchants and other people in what was basically the middle class. They were just groups of poorer people who were just looking for protection or were trying to help other people. The first organized crime syndicates were a kind of Robin Hood, they helped the poor. They weren’t big or powerful, and they didn’t have large numbers. The Italian mob was the same way, small numbers and very little power. Over time though, these organizations began to grow beyond even what their founders pictured. As this started to happen, and these organizations became more of a nuisance, governments started to take notice. They began trying to stop them by either slowing the growth or causing them to cease existence. Despite efforts to eradicate organized crime, it is stronger than ever.

For generations and throughout the United States history one conspiracy kept plausible. The question whether or not the Illuminati is present in our world today. They are the top players in the world professional playground, which include 13 bloodlines which are extremely rich, and they are the individuals who want to control the world from behind the scenes. Besides the 13 Bloodline, there is also hundreds of other men, with a few exceptions of women, that are also very influential and wealthy that have joined this secret cult. The Illuminati is a well-structured organization and contains people only in the highest standings which practically puts them above the law.
These conspiracy theories all seem false with no real evidence to back any of these claims. Skull and Bone say be a secret society but it does not appear like these are the secrets they are keeping.
In the early beginnings of this mysterious group many people believed that they were running the US government and that alleged members were Thomas Jefferson and Ben Franklin. It is said that the society
