How is illegal immigration beneficial or detrimental to America today? Illegal immigration is when a non-american citizen comes into a country from another country to live and work without the permission of the government. Illegal immigrants come from all over the world. Most people believe that once you are found as a illegal immigrant, you should be automatically deported, especially in America. Some people believe having illegal immigrants living in the U.S harms the economy, while others believe they help the economy. I intend to examine the pros and cons of immigration and discuss different candidates opinions on illegal immigrants. I also intend to discuss how immigration is beneficial to the U.S. today. Meaning that allowing immigrants to enter the country adds more taxes that will be paid because they are documented citizens, instead of being paid off the books and paying no taxes.
