“If you don’t then why don’t you go out with me.”
“What?” I incomprehensibly asked, having stopped crying at this point. Is Michael possibly trying to hit on me? “Because…”
“Because you don’t have feelings for me right? Everyone feelings matter under no circumstances.” That was a strange way to make his point get across. “Why do you think he came to this amusement park?”
“Because he likes Tia?”
“No, because you asked him. If her, me or anyone else would’ve asked, there’s a ninety-nine percent chance he would have cussed us out.” More like a one hundred percent guarantee for you, but the world is a funny place where anything, such as that one percent chance of him telling you yes, is possible.
“Does that mean he likes me?”
“Doesn’t it sound like it?”
“Yeah. Well… I don’t know; he’s weird.”
“Then why don’t you go fight for him?”
“Because Tia...”
“Tia doesn’t matter in this situation! It’s his choice to decide which one of you he wants to be with, not hers. Hell, he might decline both of you.”
“But…”
“But nothing! Now go find him and tell him how you feel.”
“But…”
“But nothing! Now get going before I tell him myself.”
I walked away slowly, slouching my arms and head downward. I can’t believe I just got scolded by Michael of all people.
It was about half an hour before I finally found Tia and Tre. They were walking towards the exit, talking. He shook is head no and it appeared her soul was ripped out. Her body language was the one of someone who just had their heart broken. She reached up, hugged him before pointing in my direction and walked away.
Did he just deny her?
He ran over to me and immediately started to complain. “And where were you at this whole time? I’ve been through hell and back …”
“What did you say to her?” I sai...

...and no man would want to put up with you if you continue to act this way.”
“That’s none of your…”
“Why does that matter when she’s with me?”
What?
“Why does what anyone else think or say matter when I’m with her? I love her for who she is and wouldn’t have her any other way, so fuck what others think.”
Why are you saying this?
“As long as she doesn’t have that damn ugly depressing expression on her face, I’m alright with the way she is.”
That’s not fair. Why can’t you just let me be mad at you? You always say the right things that makes me lo…
I dropped to the ground and couldn’t get up. I had lost my legs.
“You two weirdos deserve each other,” the man stuttered, stumbling off. “I don’t got time to deal with y’all crazy asses.”
Tre let out a sigh of relief before turning towards me. “That was close. You know… Why the hell are you on the ground?”
“I can’t move.”
