Building a house, building or any other permanently standing structure can be an incredibly complicated job. Not only do need to have materials from the best quality possible, you also have to make sure that the framing of the structure is balanced, accurate and secure. However, it is the foundation of the structure that can be considered the most important part to the structural integrity of the house. Without a proper foundation, the house could be considered unsafe. Small cracks would start appearing in the concrete base of the house and near the corners of doors, windows, walls and ceilings. Nails would start to go slack. The wallpaper would start to crease. The roof would start to leak water into the house, ruining the precious belongings that have been accumulated throughout time. The problems caused by a faulty foundation could span to such detrimental situations that they could destroy the house completely, such as sinkholes underneath the house. It is not worthwhile to risk the house by not spending the attention necessary to ensure its safety.
Many people believe that their lives revolve around their homes. But have you ever considered the idea that your life itself is structured like a house? You need to find a location; find the appropriate area for yourself where you can establish the life you intend to achive. It is necessary to design the house; create goals for your life. Get permits; earn approval of those around you and get positive reinforcement to start your life as you want it to be. Breaking the ground and laying the foundation can be the most important part in the process of building the house as it is in building your life, it can be extremely difficult but it is what you need to be successful in the futur...

...e their weaknesses. The formal way in which the Honors Faculty treat student has helped me to evolve as potential professional. They have encouraged me to incorporate proper ethics in everything I do, inside and outside of my classrooms so when the future comes I can be an honest and principled professional.
As an international student the Honors Program has given me a community where I can identify myself with people who strive for similar goals as my own. However, it also has given me a community where I can acquire new knowledge and skills to carry throughout my life. They have given me solid bricks with which I can build an exceptional foundation for not only my career but my life. Yet, I am not finished, they are still more bricks necessary to complete that ideal foundation and I do not want to stop until I achieve that, until I achieve my goals, my success.
