My interest in the field of Automobile goes back to my early years in high school which is when I decided to pursue a career in engineering. As a child I was always fascinated by the very concept of automobile. Further, my father’s constant involvement in the automotive industry as an insurance claims assessor further enhanced my interests in automobiles. He was the one responsible for showing me the correct path to pursue my career in automobile field. Hence, after having completed my primary education, I decided to delve straight into the world of mechanics and engineering and pursued a diploma in mechanical engineering followed by a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. Since there were very few options in India & there was no direct path to get into automobile field. As a brief introductory note on my educational history, I have completed my Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the Maharashtra State board of Technical Education with a first class (65.62 %). Thereafter, I pursued and completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mumbai, obtaining a first class as well (60.12%). In my undergraduate years, I have acquired a strong background in the fundamentals of basic mechanical engineering, having studied subjects such as Strength of Materials, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Heat and Mass Transfer, Design of Machine Elements and Automobile Engineering. Whilst pursuing my diploma & degree courses, my interest for Automotive Engineering grew even more having learnt more on the different types of internal combustion engines, their configuration and importance. However, what I lacked was a practical understanding on these core areas of Automotive Engineering. Involvement in sports has also meant that competitiveness and team-skills have become a part of my lifestyle, but I simply believe that I have a lot of patience and the willingness to learn and accept every challenge that comes my way. At this stage of my life, I have many ambitions, the first step of which is to carry out my Masters studies in Automotive Engineering. Attending U.K. universities is surely a dream for distinguished students all over the world, especially the ones who are passionate about education. Secondly and a more subtle reason being acquiring a degree that has global recognition has become a necessity if one desires to carve out a niche for oneself in this increasingly global economy. Given a chance I shall prove my worthiness. Yours Sincerely,
The world of technology is ever changing and advancing. With the automotive industry in play technology is constantly surpassing what is available today with what can be done for tomorrow. Technology and the automotive industry go hand in hand with constant improvement to components of cars. Due to technology advancement there is competition within the car industry, especially between American car companies and European car companies. European car companies provide their buyers with innovative variety and revolutionary luxuries. European car technology is superior to American car technology due to their safety, entertainment, and luxury features.
I have been a four year letter-winner in volleyball and basketball. Athletics have been a crucial part of developing my character and work ethic. In sports, you must work together with your team to reach your goals. Trust and communication skills are vital and are tested every day. The failure and setbacks I have faced through sports have helped me to believe in myself and have the self-confidence that it takes to be successful in athletics and in life. As a senior captain of the volleyball and basketball teams, my leadership has improved tremendously as high school has progressed. Being a leader holds me accountable and I aim to be a role model for younger teammates on the court, in the classroom, and in the community.
I have always been involved in sports in some way or another. I was team captain in every sport imaginable in elementary school. Junior high I continued to be involved in sports, but it wasn't until high school started that I really got into it. I played soccer, softball and basketball at Rogers High School. I particularly loved soccer. Just playing it gave me a rush I had never felt before. Also knowing that this sport took a lot of hard work and dedication gave me a sense of satisfaction, because I knew that I put everything I had into it. Putting a lot of dedication and hard work into something may prove to be useful in the future.
Each game, my passion grew. Each team, new memories and lifelong friends were made. Sports sometimes make me feel disappointment and at loss; but it taught me to be resilient to a lot of things, like how to thrive under pressure and come out on top. Being the team captain of my high school’s football and lacrosse team showed me how having a big responsibility to bring a group together to work as one is compared to many situations in life. Currently playing varsity football, varsity lacrosse, and track I take great pride in the activities I do. Staying on top of my academics, being duel enrolled at Indian River State College, working three nights a week, and two different sport practices after school each day shaped my character to having a hard work

Being a member of the future generation of innovators and leaders, I feel that this research combined with my fascination of automobiles could lead to a clearer understanding of how I can help improve the automobile. In a world that is highly connected by roads, if the problem of using petroleum-based fuels is not solved, the entire gas-guzzling world could come to a standstill. This apocalyptic halt would cease all travel and we would be thrown back to a more primitive standing. However, if we research and find an alternative ahead of time, we would be able to transiti...

Mechanical engineering is a very broad and diverse job. Mechanical engineers are “thinkers and constructers”. They take ideas and turn them into real life. They “research, design, develop, build, and test mechanical and thermal censors and devices, including tools, engines, and machines”, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Basically, mechanical engineers work with anything that moves. Becoming a mechanical engineer is not very easy; it can take up to 4 years just to receive your bachelor.
The automobile industry in India has turned out to be a very lucrative market for foreign firms. This industry has witnessed impressive growth in the past two decades; it has modernized itself; it has come up with newer technology, as well as aligning itself to global developments. The automotive industry has significantly contributed to the overall industrial growth in India. It has also been generating employment opportunities to many people in India and abroad. There’s also brilliant engineering talent, as well as the language strength of English, and of course the low overall cost. All these resources that India has, makes them more and more attractive not only to the all foreign auto manufacturers, but other industries in general such as Microsoft who had four good reasons to invest in India. One of those reasons is that India has an excellent higher education system that graduat...
Throughout my undergraduate studies I was given a comprehensive exposure to the ever dynamic curriculum of Mechanical Engineering ranging from wide range of topics like Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Manufacturing, Machine design, Material science etc. These courses have helped me build a strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering and laid the necessary groundwork for pursuing graduate studies. Mechanical engineering is a type of engineering which applies principles of physics and material science for the purpose of analyzing, designing, manufacturing and maintaining of mechanical systems (Gorp, 2005). It is involved with the production and usage of mechanical power in the operation of various machines and tools. Mechanical engineering is considered to be the most diverse engineering and has its breadth derived from the need to design tools and manufacture products which range from small individual parts to large systems. Mechanical engineering, as thought of by scholars, is related to Aerospace engineering, Manufacturing and Mechanical engineering (Van et al, 2011).
My career plan is to go into mechanical engineering. A mechanical engineer is the person who designs and make machines like generators. Engineering is a difficult and competitive field. Engineering requires a bachelor's degree and a good understanding of STEM (Science Technology Engineering Math). I would have to pass an engineering exam to get my license. Some school near me that offer the degree I want are Michigan, Michigan State, Michigan Tech, and Western Michigan.
