My primary goal in pursuing graduate study is to build upon the foundation that was laid during my undergraduate studies in order to prepare for a career in policy analysis. I have decided to pursue an advanced degree in Economics due to my past coursework, internships, and research experiences. In particular, I want to conduct research in health economics and policy because I feel that it combines many of my interests, such as policy impact, health care, and the global experience. If provided the opportunity to participate in the Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship Program, I would gain perspective and skills that would prove invaluable when working to improve the well being of the global community. Ultimately, I plan to use my knowledge of Economics in a career where my education, leadership, and background will benefit many diverse groups of people throughout the world.
