1-Who I Am: “I do not care how poor a man is. If he has a family, he is rich.” Dan Wilcox abbreviates what the family means to me as the youngest person among them. As it is known in Saudi Arabia, most of the Saudi families have large numbers of children. I grew up within a big family that contains five sisters and two brothers. We lived, ate, played and did everything together in the same house until everyone got married, which is a big house that consists of three floors. My parents accustomed us to assist and respect each other. We also meet and discuss the urgent family issues together. I care about the moral more than anything else. Interesting in attitude that what my religion orders us; “If someone with whose religion you satisfy and he requests your daughter for marriage agree to his request”. That lead me to explain that the Saudi women can’t marry or travel without agreement from guardian (father, brother then uncle). I agree to that because father and brothers know the benefits/rights for women relatives well. As, I know women more emotion from a man and she might get her into problems such as travel out of a country may expose her to fraud, or marriage man who might hurt her. Accordingly, the girls usually trust for their father who has to protect them also, the girls occupy a particular room in Fathers’ heart. Consequently, my father took the responsibility for my marriage. He met with my husband first, and talked with him to catch the important information: his family, job, ambitions, and his style, then asked several people who know my husband to make sure about the information he acquired. Furthermore, he asked about his manner and how he was dealing with others. subsequently, my father told me about him, later I would decide to say yes or no because it is necessary for taking my consent in this
