"Everyone has an idea. But it 's really about executing the idea and attracting other people to help you work on the idea." - Dorsey.
I am passionate about the ideas stuck in my head and dream to give them a shape by doing further research and study in related fields, which makes me ‘a student to the end of my days’: the obvious direction being curiosity towards exploration.

Academic Background:
Fortunately, I had a good early education and as I grew, my interests and ability were inclined towards the physical nature of the universe. Science unravelled many a mystery for me; math challenged me and gave me joy. Learning became part to my life.
My propensity towards applied science drove me to opt for math, physics, biology and chemistry in my higher secondary education. After completing my high school, I felt that Engineering would be the area, which would give me the opportunity to learn and explore how the fundamentals of science are applied to create technology for practical & real purposes.
Consequently, I did my Bachelors in Civil Engineering from premier government institute Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur. Among 107 students in my department I ranked 5th, with CGPA = 8 out of 10. I received merit scholarships for two consecutive years. I took many quantitative and computing courses throughout my degree path, including Engineering Mathematics (M101), Statistics and the theory of Problems (M201), Introduction to Analysis (M301), Complex Analysis and Numerical Analysis (M401), Introduction to computing and algorithms (CE201) and Computing practice & database (CE203). Science Is What We Know Essay

- This is a question that will stick to the heels of your apologetic discussions with students like a hungry dog convinced that you’re hiding a dead pig in your pocket. Our culture’s scientific zeitgeist is incredibly dogmatic because of a very specific philosophy of science that’s constantly alluded to in our education system. In the West, science is seen as the ‘ultimate discipline’, the only true way to find verifiable facts. Bertrand Russell famously said, “Science is what we know, Philosophy is what we don’t know.” Putting this in it’s context, he continued with: "We may say that, on its theoretical side, philosophy consists, at least in part, in the framing of large general hypotheses w...   [tags: Scientific method, Science, Epistemology]
