Reflection On Women In Leadership

Throughout the first semester we did a group project. My group and I struggled interviewing a professor because it would be an excited, fun and educational videos. From the very beginning, there were some obstacles standing between us and reaching our goal. We had to set up meetings with our career field. During this time it was hard trying to set similar times where you and the professor could schedule an interview together. Once we got that settled down we came to another obstacle with getting the cameras. When we started to record they found out that the way we were approaching this project was not what we were trying to accomplish. As a result, we changed our project completely. We started interviewing older leadership minors and asking them what they did and how it has changed their lives. …show more content…

By taking this class, she took her seminar project and started the Women in Leadership conference. Former HSU student and alumni who took the course were welcome to come together and learn about leadership, what it meant, how it affect them, and how to use those roles in the future.

I also had the ability to help Ryanne with interviewing the civil rights class. Students were able to tell us why they showed interest in doing the class as well as what the class had to offer. I enjoyed hearing them be so passionate about this class. I had a hard time keeping still when I was recording them because they were captivating me as they spoke more and more about their
