Hsun Tzu states that “He who can order himself and respond to others, this is what is called the complete man” (Page 552). A complete person is someone who can become a leader and lead others to the path of knowledge.Ever since education was implemented into our society, men and women have been aiming at becoming a complete person. In order for us to achieve this completeness, we must be guided by education. Education is aiming at producing a complete person, because it teaches us to never give up, challenges us, and uses our resources to teach others.
The initial key to becoming a complete person has been to never give up on education. As a current student enrolled in school, I have had my share of experiences of not giving up my education.

If the leader were to be gone, what will happen to the majority of people? They would only learn to impress others and that is not the way of a complete person. Plato claims,” a necessary inference from what has preceded, that neither the uneducated and uninformed of the truth (Plato 873). Truth refers to wisdom and that is only achievable through the minds of educated people. The uneducated will only become servants to those who have learn. But this is not a way of living. Man cannot simply remain silent and take orders from others. All people must have a chance of education and grow into a leader. However once an individual has risen into a wise leader, their education must never stop. “But when they [The educated] have ascended and seen enough we must not allow them to do as they do now” (Plato 873). If the educated were to become too comfortable, they will lose sight of learning. The leader must be around with the uneducated because he needs to gain a new point of view of the uneducated. Once the leader can relate to his people, he will have a better understanding of what needs to be taught. The citizens will begin to respect him and be more open to education. This will lead to a creation of a greater society and future leaders. The uneducated will no longer be held in society chains, they will break free and emerge a new leader. The cycle of education will keep

Every year, thousands and thousands of students graduate from high school ready to embark one of life’s greatest adventures. Many students feel as if high school was tough and an awkward time for them. Some will encounter times when bullies are rude and nasty to them. Others will not have to deal with any negativity and have a great experience, but will not want to go back. After high school life goes on, many students choose different paths other than to continue their education but most of the students that graduate from high school are given the opportunity to attend colleges and universities all around the nation and obtain an education. Although not all students will get to fulfill this opportunity due to different circumstances, such as the expense or some of them may already have a family to take care of and have to go straight to work after graduation. For those students that do have the opportunity and are able to take it, it’s recommended they do. Once a higher education level is achieved, no one can take it away from them. It makes the chances of getting a job easier and also get a higher pay. An education should never be taken for granted because not everyone gets to have one, setting a goal and staying focused on
Education has played a significant role in both my immediate and long term goals. Without an education I would not be able to reach my long term goal to become an Occupational Therapist. An education has given me the feeling of success and a lifetime of pride. Through my past struggles in college I have learned valuable key aptitudes needed, such as, dedication, attendance, and organization, in becoming a successful student. Through my achievements such as making Dean’s list, Chancellor’s list, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Studies I have learned I am motivated and capable of accomplishing my goals and
A Day No Pigs Would Die is a story that Robert Peck wrote to show the reader his adolescent life, fate, and the journey from boyhood to manhood. Peck leads the reader through the intricate web of his youth, almost as though he were a stitching needle. The author makes sure not to miss a single stomach pumping detail, leaving the reader, well, not quite wanting more. As a young Shaker boy, Robert lived with his mother Lucy, father Haven, and his aunt carrie. The novel begins with a vivid scene in which he helps bring a calf into the world up on the ridge above their farm. The mother seemed to have been posessed by some force of the underworld, causing her, her calf, and Rob a great deal of pain. Robert learns at an early age the value of a simple life, hard work, and a strict moral code. While other boys his age spend their time playing, Robert helps his father on the farm and does his own daily chores, while raising a pig in hopes of supplementing the family income. The role fate plays in this story is Robert's future, and how he will make a living. He is destined to become a farmer just like his father, on the same land he grew up on. He knows that when his father dies, he will become the man of the house, and he will be in charge of his mother and his aunt. Robert would like very much to become famous, but he is resticted in that it is against his religion. Robert grows up feeling this constant sense of predestination, with his whole life planned out before his eyes only making him feel even more the urge to break free and live free. Robert's father becomes ill with a lung disease, and does all he can to help his son be ready to be the head of their household. Haven develops a cough, and eventually has to start sleeping out in the barn with the animals since it is warmer there, and he is worried about his wife becoming ill aswell. After a few years of preparation and rigorous teaching, Haven does not wake up one morning out in the barn. Robert does his best to be a man, and to make sure to keep his immature feelings concealed. He jumps right into his father's boots, and is allowed to, for the first time, call his neighbors by their first names.
“You will never know what you are doing until and unless you have done it.” ― Santosh Kalwar. (http://www.goodreads.com/quotes/tag/education?page=11) Throughout the 18 years I’ve lived on Earth, I have learned one thing. Life is nothing but trial and error. You can only learn by learning. You can only experience by experiencing. All my life I took something so vital for granted; pushing it away because I was afraid. I allowed myself to be held back by my trials. I let myself become my problems. I never took an open opportunity like this to better myself, until now. “The whole purpose of education is to turn mirrors into windows.” ― Sydney J. Harris. (http://www.goodreads.com/quotes/tag/education?page=11) My education is my future; a second chance I thought I’d never get. And I’m never turning back. That is what my education means to me.
...education, ending with a more substantial, personal motivation. I thought that the only way to be truly educated was to attend college, and get a degree, obtaining proof that you were a refined, cultured, person. However, I’ve come to believe that as long as you’ve come to understand that education is constantly evolving, that your level of knowledge about things can constantly be refined, then I believe that you are an educated person.
An education is something that one can keep for a lifetime. Acquiring a good education can affect one’s personal life, one’s community, and one’s entire generation.
I came to college because I wanted to make more money. However, I am learning to change myself. With an education and the tools I am receiving, I feel I am reaching my goals. I am becoming a better leader, an objective writer, and better communicator because I am learning to use correct grammar. With countless goals to achieve, I will always believe in myself when no one else does; I will always remain patient and never give up. As I continue to change and revamp my goals, I know that my education plays a significant part on how successful I will be in my career. Last with well thought out plans and a good support system, I believe all goals can be accomplished. Change is constant.
Education is generally seen as a formal process of instruction, based on a theory of teaching, to impart formal knowledge to one or more students (Cogburn, n.d.). Henceforth, individuals seek to acquire some form of schooling from pre-school through secondary school while others may go on to tertiary to better him or her in some way. A definition of education according to the Oxford Advanced Learner’s Dictionary is that education is “a process of teaching, training and learning, especially in schools or colleges, to improve knowledge and develop skills.” Where education in the common parlance has become a process of adding layers of one’s store of knowledge, the true aim of education is to call forth that which is essential to the individual (White, 2006). Furthermore, and according to Coombs and Ahmed 1974, education is a continuing process, spanning the years from earliest infancy through adulthood and necessarily involving a great variety of methods and sources. Education also involves inculcating in students distinct bits of knowledge; therefore education is an additive process (White, 2006). It adds to an individual as well as it adds to a country through the individuals who are and would have been or are being educated. According to a study conducted by Olaniyan and Okemakinde 2008, education creates improved citizens and helps to upgrade the general standard of living in a society. Furthermore, education plays a key role in the ability of a developing country to absorb modern technology and to develop the capacity for self-sustaining growth and development (Todaro and Smith, 2012).
...know that I need more learning if I want to find what I want to be in life. I feel that a person needs learning to become successful.
This was the lesson I learnt from my father, an unceasing learner and a person who would never give up no matter how many and how difficult the obstacles may be. Having understood from him that success is a moving target, the years of my life with my family have inculcated in me a desire to achieve perfection.
In a person’s life, they learn from everything around them, and take in everything that they see, and learn from all of it. Hopefully, they get a good result so that they may be able to make a difference in the world around them. I feel that I have to tools to make the changes that I want, and the knowledge to know how to make these changes. I look toward the future with a bright outlook, and know that to keep learning is the key to making my bright outlook the truth. For my future and the future of people younger and older than me, education will always be the key.
Education has been defined differently by different people. For me, education means gaining knowledge and skills. Education involves teaching which is done in a morally accepted manner. Teaching does not constitute learning, but the learner themselves must be able to incorporate knowledge and skills in their daily lifestyle or the learning is not meaningful. Somehow, all these meanings show that education seeks to nurture the good qualities in man and make last the best in every individual. Moreover, education is also an important asset that raises people’s aspirations to increased social, economic and cultural performance, raises their level of awareness of their environment and equips them with the necessary skills and ideology for contending
...o be the best leader and commander possible, as well as serving to ensure that others find their lives easy and free. Horace Mann, pioneer of American education simply commented, “a human being is not attaining his full heights until he is educated.” If humanity is to stand tall and successful, every member must first be educated.
“Education means enabling the mind to find out that ultimate truth which emancipates us from the bondage of dust and gives us the wealth of not things but of inner light , not of power but of love, making this truth its even and giving expression to it.”
