For this paper I considered a variety of people that have seen me communicate on different levels. I started by interviewing one of my coworkers, then I asked for the participation of one of the consumers, and finally a fellow member of my church. It was interesting to find out how others felt about the way in which I communicate. In the process of writing this paper I have learned a lot about myself.
Andy and I work closely together at a small daycare in Quinlan. I thought she would be a great candidate for this assignment, because she observes how I communicate with the children and other coworkers. When it comes to the little ones in our daycare she said she loves to watch me tell them stories, because I make great facial expressions. She informed me that it is vital that I know how to change my speed and clearness depending on whom I am speaking to. For example when I am speaking to the youngest children in the daycare sometimes I have to speak slower and clearer compared to when I am speaking with a coworker.
