In this essay I will discuss how Hip hop music applies on the statement “commercialisation does not preclude an artist from contributing to a culture of resistance”. Graffiti are especially perceived as unlawful or officially illegal communal markings which associated with the individualistic or group delinquency of youth against the mainstream society. Also, the process of how commercialized rapping encourages drug and alcohol use in hip-hop music. The deficiency of the following probabilities for employment mobility are the main determining factors beyond the drug and alochol abuse.
