Personal Appearance How do people normally distinguish or evaluate a person who they met for the first time? Most of them have criteria for judging a person with the appearance of the person such as height, weight, figure, looks, etc., and the way of the judgement might depend on the individual decisions. Judging others with the appearance could be wrong decisions for the ethical problems, or the appearance does not always show the real characteristics of a person. Moreover, we even have some artificial operations to become more beautiful or attractive of late. The easiest reason to explain the changings is having high status or enough money as one wants. These factors seem more like influencing receivers of impressions; for example, Wearing formal clothes is the simplest way to change the personal evaluation, so people sometimes try to wear better clothes to pretend to be a career or rich as a vanity. People cannot help counting the authority of the person unconsciously when they evaluate the person even if they try to disregard it. Moreover, having connections with people who also has a kind of authority in society is another reason of the impressive changings. Some people mention that the average of the five people around you makes the capacity of yourself. Following this rule, people unconsciously try to improve or corrupt themselves into the average of group around you. Whatever the factors of the changings are, the most fundamental portion of improving self must be having confidence, and the confidence could be coming from both of internal and external factors. For example, people can have some confidence with lots of successes and failures through their life and with comprehending the methods of managing their emotions. Furthermore, having a career or being wealthy can give more confidence to the person; worthful relationships can be another reason for feeling reasonable confidence.
