How can College Students Develop Good Habits Many people say that what makes a good student is their work ethic and intelligence. However, being a good student is not just based off of those things. A good student should know how to organize their skills and have patience. Successful college students must have good habits in order for them to be labeled as good students in college. Successful people often achieve high academic goals in life and live a happy life. First, being a good college student means that the student takes school seriously. Taking school seriously means treating school like work. Students must be serious about college life – meaning, that student must go to class regularly, attend every lecture, …show more content…

If you know that you will miss class for any reason, try to get the notes from a classmate so that you can get the concepts of the chapter, are able to study for the class you missed, and so that during the next class you are able to understand the lesson the professor teaches. To be a good student is to show up to lecture on time and stay for the whole duration of the lecture. Many students often come in late or leave early –this does not look good to a professor and also it hurts you as a student since you are missing some parts of the class. It can even affect your participation grade. College students should also come to class in a well prepared manner by bringing necessary things like books, notes, pens,etc. Students should complete homework and assignments regularly and on time. Time management is very important to succeed in school. You must be able to balance all of your classes and assignments and turn homework in on time. Furthermore, we have to read the chapters regularly at home or in the library. Students must also review what the professor has taught in the class before, and prepare for the upcoming class. Soat the day of the test preparation, we have to do a few chapters and got a good grade in the exam. And if we can’t apply this thing, then we got a lower grade in the exam and we have to repeat the class. But from getting lower grade you motivated and you know how you are weak in this subject, and in which part you have to do a concentrate
