Homeschool versus public school has been the age old debate. The argument has always been whether homeschooling can be more beneficial to a child than attending public school. There are always some advantages for a child who is homeschooling but there are also a lot of disadvantages to. The decision on whether a family chooses homeschooling over public-school is always up to the parent to make. Whichever one they choose they have to make sure it’s the right choice for their child. When parent decides that homeschooling is right for them, not only is that parents give me up their freedoms and any spare time they would have. In comparison to homeschooling, a parent can eliminate all of the busywork so they can focus more time on important subjects that their child would need in the future. One of the best things about one-on-one learning is it a child does not understand something the parents can spend time going over until the child fully understands what they are trying to learn. This kind of learning is called learning at your own pace. For example, in a homeschooling environment, if a child does not do well on the tests, a parent can go over the material and explain the questions until the child understand why they got wrong. In a public school setting, teachers do not have the flexibility time to do this with each and every child. However, many people think that this type of education a child will not receive a well-rounded learning experience. A one-on-one education really is a child with special attention they need to grow as a person. This is just one benefit of homeschooling your child.
Homeschooled children are self-motivated because they have a desire to know about a subject instead of finding something just to pass a test. This curiosity enables them to work to their best abilities and become independent learn at a very young age. Since parents by their teachers a child cannot use any excuses when not complaining and assigned. When a child is self-motivated, this will help them be successful when entering college.
