Hitler said die Endlösung der Judenfrage, History says The Final Solution
The evolution of the Final Solution of the Jewish Question was executed in stages. Was the Final Solution truly the answer? During the time of the Holocaust this idea meant different things at different things. The Holocaust was one of the most traumatic and heart-rending killings. Six million Jews are believed to have been killed during the Holocaust. There were over preconceived ideas and political figures. It all evolved from hatred during the biblical ages. There are many reasons to why the Jewish people were despised. The population perceived the Jews as the killer of Jesus. People used the scapegoat of that they are a convenient group to blame. The hatred of the Jews was fueled by the claim that they are the chosen people. Society has viewed the Jews as having prosperity and supremacy. The one that was exaggerated most during the Holocaust was that of the idea that they are an inferior race. Hitler stated a shocking quote in his conversation with Josef Hell in 1922 prior to his power. ! Hitler was the one who proposed that they were the inferior race, and he ran with this concept throughout his life in the public eye. The different meanings of The Final solution were influenced from that current time period that was occurring. Four major occurrences altered and forever left an imprint on the lives of millions. The Anti-Jewish policy, new German governmental departments, the invasion of Poland, and the invasion of the USSR all impacted the meaning of the Final solution.

Was the Final Solution completed? The answer is no. Hitler did everything in his power to try and alienate all the Jewish people in Europe. The support of other countries that fought against Hitler’s rule also played an important role. Hitler had the idea all the way back to when he first became a public figure in society, he built off of it, and then put his plan into action in the late 1930s and early 1940s. He wanted the Aryan race to be the leader. Their will and determination not to give up kept them going. The Jewish people have forever left an impact on their people, Europe, and the rest of the world. One can look back on this tragic time in our history and learn from the mistakes. No one should ever go through a catastrophe like this again. This genocide will forever remain in history as one of the worst mass killings of people in the world.
The phrase “Final Solution” referred to their plan to annihilate the Jewish population. This plan stated that all European Jews would be killed by shooting, gassing, or any way necessary (Final Solution). The article “The Wannsee Conference and the Final Solution,” documented that on January 20, 1942, the Nazis and Germans met to tell the non-Nazi Leaders what the Final Solution was, and that they were responsible for helping to get the Jews transported to the camps. The Final Solution was not the beginning for the elimination. This was already being accomplished by mobile killing squads that would shoot any Jewish men, women, or children. Later, on July 22, 1942 the gassing chambers were finished in the extermination or death camps. Camouflaging the chambers as large showers, the Jews would think they were going to bathe, when they were actually being gassed to death
It is evident that World War II still affects the world today, but are these repercussions the aftermath of a master plan for destruction? The Nazi Party and Hitler were the most significant characters for World War II and thus, they truly made history, however, they made it worse. Many different causes for this devastation have been concluded starting with the end of World War I and the harsh blameful Treaty of Versailles, the new found control in Germany, and the Great Depression; even though was most harmful in America, affected the world in its entirety. Are these the factors that led to the ‘Final Solution’, are these the problems that encouraged Hitler to seize the world? There were many elements prior to World War II leading to the annihilation of Jews, Hitler’s experiences in World War I greatly influenced his outlook on warfare and the Jewish, another predominate factor was the approval of building the camps and chambers in Germany, and lastly the documented intentions for the ‘Final Solution’.
The Final Solution to the Jewish question resulted in indisputably the worst genocide the world has ever seen. Historians have been debating for years on its origins. The two schools of thoughts disagree on when the blueprint was designed and who enforced it in 1942. Lucy Dawidowicz and Richard Breitman agree with the Intentionalist school of thought. They both agree that Hitler had intended to eliminate the Jews from the world and enforced it by 1939. Christopher Browning agrees with the Functionalist point of view. He believes that the final solution was a reaction to this situation is Russia. Bauer is able to bring both schools of thoughts together. Whatever side people choose, this debate will never end unless concrete evidence is found. For now both schools of thought will continue to try to understand this topic better.
Hitler and his right hand man, Himmler, came up with a plan called The Final Solution. The Final Solution was a plan to eliminate all of the Jews in europe. Approximently 6 million Jews were kiilled and 5 million other people that were on Hitler's Undesirable List were also killed.
The Third Reich sought to eliminate the Jews because the Germans viewed the Jews as parasites that were infecting their country and the world. With economic and physical pressure, Germany was able to encourage the Jews to flee Germany, however, not many left because of restrictions. The Nazis created the final solution in order to quickly eliminate all of the Jews that existed primarily in Germany. Through the use of medical experimentation, gas chambers, and the crematorium, around 6 million Jews were killed.
From 1933 onwards, Adolf Hitler and his Nazis began implementing simple discrimination laws against the Jews and others who they did not see part of their master race. Hitler and the Nazis believed that German power was being taken by the Jews. Hitler was able to convince his followers of this issue with the Jewish question as it was known, and get away with murdering millions of people in an attempt to cleanse society of anyone inferior to the master race. The Holocaust lasted for 12 years, until 1945. Starting as early as 1944, the Allies were finally advancing on the Germans and began taking over their camps. These liberations and takeovers by the Soviets, American’s and other allies slowly began to remove Hitler from power. In my essay I will go into detail on the final years of the holocaust and how it ended.(1)
Adolf Hitler came to power over Germany in January of 1933. He hated Jews and blamed them for everything bad that had ever happened to Germany. Hitler’s goal in life was to eliminate the Jewish population. With his rise to power in Germany, he would put into action his plan of elimination. This is not only why German Jews were the main target of the Holocaust, but why they were a large part of the years before, during, and after the Holocaust. Hitler’s “final solution” almost eliminated the Jewish population in Europe during World War II. At the end of the war and along with his suicide, the Jewish population would survive the horror known as the Holocaust and the Jews would eventually find their way back to their homeland of Israel as well as find new communities to call home.
In 1933, the Jewish population of Europe was at nine million. By 1945, the "Final Solution" was put into action. The Nazi's had killed nearly two out of every three European Jews. As well, the "Eutanasia Program" was put in place. Around 200, 000 mentally or physically disabled patients and 200, 000 Gypsies had been murdered.
What does the “Holocaust” or “Final Solution” meant to mean? To Adolf Hitler, the man who defined Final Solution during WWII, it means to erase the undesirables from his country and remove all who blocked his path to dominating Europe. The modern day person would define The Holocaust as a massive murder of millions of innocent people but to Nazi Germany they were an obstacle to solutions such as fixing their economic problems, and making Germany’s people a pure Aryan Race. Hitler was creating a massive killing of humans by the hands of other humans known as The Holocaust. Why was the holocaust considered to be a tragic event? I may sound horrible, sadistic, or just plain evil for saying this but I can’t see anything bad about the Holocaust. War always clears out human lives and leaves more resources for those still alive and the
An ends-based rationality, in layman’s terms, means that we evaluate the ends of actions taken. This evaluation comes from judging the rationality of the goals, or ends, being pursued by an organization such as the Nazi Party. The stage for the Holocaust was set as Hitler and his party gained momentum in the country, utilizing anti semitism as a strategy for political control. The Jews functioned as a scapegoat for Germany’s failures, such as the economic crisis the country suffered after losing World War I. The end-goal of the Holocaust was Hitler’s “Final Solution”: the mass extermination of European Jews. To kill another person is irrational to many; to kill six million even more so. To pin Germany’s shortcomings on a very specific portion of society and subjecting them to concentration camps such as Auschwitz as some sort of retribution is now widely viewed as being preposterous. According to an ends-based rationality, the Holocaust was incredibly
The Jewish people kept getting one thing after another taken away from them because Hitler wanted to make them feel like they are not human. All of the laws passed leading up to the Night of the Broken kept increasing Hitler's power and ability to persecute the Jews because there was little reaction to his actions; the violence and persecution increased leading to the final solution because of this indifference.
“The Final Solution” was the horrible plan to kill all the Jews, all thanks that it didn’t happen goes to the soliders that fought then. Mass Genocide probabally will never happen again because of what when down in Germany almost 70 years ago.
The Final Solution was the Nazi plan in Germany during World War II to get rid of the European Jewish population through genocide. In January of 1942, this policy was instituted and planned out at the Wannsee Conference. It resulted in the murder of two thirds of the European Jews, better known as The Holocaust. Both ...
before he came to power, he just used World War II as his golden opportunity to turn his dream into a reality. Others, with Andreas Hillgruber, argue Hitler was the only reason genocide even happened. If Hitler had not been in control, the Holocaust would have ceased to exist. His key sources include the Nuremburg Trials, quoting him saying “this struggle will not end with annihilation of Aryan mankind, but with the extermination of the Jewish people of Europe.” By using Hitler’s own words against him, Hillgruber makes it easy to prove Hitler’s malicious intent clearly and depict him as the mastermind behind the mass murder of the Jewish population. Gerald Fleming creates the last sub-argument in his book, “Hitler and the Final Solution,” provides an in-depth historical evaluation of German fascism and the mechanization behind the Nazi Party bureaucracy. His main point of reference is David Irving’s, “Hitler’s War,”
During the summer of 1941, Chancellor Adolf Hitler initialized “The Final Solution'; to the “Jewish Question';. Hitler started this program because he wanted to create a highly centralized state and one for the master race, Germans. Exterminating Jews was, for Hitler, the only way to create a perfect Germany because it would eliminate the ‘malignant tumors’, the race that caused Germany to lose World War One. Hitler’s decision to start exterminating Jews changed the course of history. In the end, over 6,000,000 Jews were killed and a Jewish state known as Israel, evolved.
