Have you ever seen a celebrity walking down a red carpet and wonder how she looks so beautiful and if she looked that beautiful before they got her dolled up? This person probably used the services of a professional cosmetologist. Cosmetology is a career having to do with skin care, hairstyling, cosmetics, manicure and pedicure. While many people can do, some of these things on their own, hiring a professional ensures a better outcome and helps enhance the looks of clients. Working in this field, whether it is as a nail technician, makeup artist, hairdresser does not just demand certain skills, you must have imagination. If you can paint, sculpt and other arts you will find that those skills will help you being a cosmetologist. (“A CAREER AS A COSMETOLOGIST”)
During the renaissance upper class, women plucked their hairline to make their forehead seem higher. Blond hair was considered a sign of high class and beauty. Due to that, both men and women attempted to turn their hair blond by using bleach, onionskin dye. In the 16th century after Francis, I accidentally burned his hair with a torch; men began to wear short hair and grew short beards and mustaches. Meanwhile society women copied Queen Elizabeth’s red beautiful hair and her pale skin. Queen Elizabeth would also give a healthy glow to her cheeks by using lead based color with dye. She would also color in her eyebrows and lips. For the final touch, she would apply a thin layer of egg-white paste to hold it together. In the 18th century, fashionable wealthy men wore white wigs tied back into a long braid at the back. Some other men wore the same hairstyle but with their own hair.
