Between their family 's home back in their country, and the one the home or apartment they live in after. Their way of life changes, and they need to adapt to new obstacles, taking care of themselves while sick, manage their money, take care of their home, juggling between schoolwork, and work. Things they may not have done whilst they were living in their country. Causing them to be blocked, and being victims of violent culture shocks. They do not identify themselves in the new one, plus the old place is no longer here. They really have no place to call home, they are stuck between two places.
