Sacks points that most of students in other colleges and universities are not taking responsibility for themselves. One of Sacks’ writing class students has told him that “if I do not get a decent grade because of your critical attitude, I will speaking to your superiors”(154) which shows student’s bad attitude on studying. Sacks finds these kind of students think that professors can give them a good score, although they do not make efforts.
