HENRI FAYOL
BACKGROUND
Henri Fayol (1841-1925), was born in Istanbul of the Ottoman Empire. His Family turned to Lyon, France in 1847. He then was enlisted at the engineering school of Saint-Etienne. He got his education as a mine architect and graduated in 1860 from this school at the age of 19 years. He was initially utilized as an engineer at Boigues, Rambourg and Co.
