I will be 20 years old on December 30th of this year, so in 2009 I was 14 meaning according to the “Longevity Questionnaire” I will live to be 80. After completing the questions it is believed that I added 15 years to my life due to my physical health, my family history, and current life style. I learned that happiness, family, love, careers and health are major factors in living a longer life. I agree with these areas purported to be associated with living longer. I agree with them because being anything but happy causes stress that shows emotionally and physically. Family plays a huge role in love and being happy and support that a person needs to be successful in life. Loves factor in life in questionable because love comes and goes, but once you find the right mixture of love the happiness it brings makes up for all the heartbreaks in the past. A good career and income falls in place with happiness and less stress in one 's life. Health and family health history is the largest favor in living a long life. I will not live to be 100 according to the questionnaire, but I wasn’t able to answer a majority of the questions because I am only 19 and have not been able to experience some of those things this early in life.

She lived an active and adventurous life joining her husband of 70 years. She is leaving two beautiful children behind along with four grandkids and six great grandkids. Personality style and character structure both incorporate the conscious and unconscious motivational, cognitive and affective mental states, as well as defense mechanisms (Silver 1992). In 1984 NS graduated college with her teaching degree, and retired at age 66. Her best years weren’t over yet. Some researchers believe that what makes a person who they are, as an adult develops from the event of infants to the gain and loses through toddlers, adolescence and early adulthood. The modern life span perspective involves the study of steadiness throughout one’s current life position witch is the result of experiences and moments that has influence before birth (Baltes, 1987). I have to believe that every single good or bad thing that has ever happened to me since birth or even before birth is preparing me for a moment, a dream that has yet to come. Aging and being old was dominated by negative characteristics and conditions such as illness, depression, and isolation for a long time (Eibach, Mock, & Courtney, 2010). At first glance the terms “success” and “aging” seem to be in conflict to each other. When asking people about aging, their answers have many facets that are also found in psychological definitions: successful aging is seen as health, maturity and personal growth, self-acceptance, happiness, generativity, coping, and acceptance of age-related limitations. In the psychological sense successful aging is also often seen as the absence of age-associated characteristics (Strawbridge, Wallhagen, & Cohen, 2002). It seems that successful aging means is not aging.

Recent reports project that by 2030, half of all adults (115 million adults) in the United States will be obese (President’s par 3). Physical activity is an important part of a healthy lifestyle. To get started and stay active, make physical activity part of your daily routine, keep track of your progress, be active and safe, and talk. Physical activity benefits all parts of your body. Even little amounts of activity are good for your health. The more active you are, the more you will benefit. Physical activity will benefit you in anything you do in your life. Regular physical activity can help keep people’s thinking, learning, and judgment skills sharp as you age. It is something that everyone in the world needs to do more of to be the best that they can be. Without physical activity, we wouldn't feel or look very good at all. Physical activity is important because it increases communication skills, inspires kids to be different and move out of their comfort zone, and it creates a positive effect on organized sports and on today's health in society.
