Harvey Weinstein was not only known as the co-founder of Miramax Films and the Weinstein Company. He was also a famous film producer and former film director. Harvey Weinstein was born in New York City on March 19, 1952. He was born in Queens, New York. He attended to the State University of New York at Buffalo where he bought a theater that was located in downtown Buffalo, this is where he started airing concert films. Within a decade, the theater had several success such as “My Left Foot and Sex”, “Lies”, “Videotape” and several more. Miramax became the most award winning and countless classic film company of the 90’s. Not only was Harvey good at filming and making his company rise, but he started to influence far beyond the films. He did Broadway production, television, magazine publishing, and political activism.
