Gun control has been a big debate across America due to the high crimes that involves a gun. Oklahoma has nearly half of the states citizen owning a gun, due to Oklahoma laws are so lay back on their citizens owning a gun. Crimes in this state is are near the top half of the United States that involve some sort of firearm. Today there are more tragic mass shootings that are occurring in the United States, in which some are involving small children. This is why the state of Oklahoma needs to put a stricter gun policy to the citizens of this state, so that the crime rates that involve a gun will go down.
When the United States Constitution adopted the Second Amendment as a part of the Bill of Rights it was to recognize citizens the right to keep and bear arms. This Second Amendment is the reason why strong gun advocates are afraid to have any gun policy put in this state. The people that have their guns believe that the government is going to be corrupted and the people have to overturn it. But, they live in a fairytale if they really thinking that they are going to beat a army like the United States. They are afraid that the local government will take away their guns. This policy that I will explain to you won't do none of these options, but instead help the state lower the crime rates that involve guns and keep law enforcement well know to people that have guns in their possession. We are trying to go after the illegal owners of firearms instead to outstanding citizen that owns gun trying to protect his family from an home invasion, protecting his herd from wolves so the farmer won't lose more money , or just having a good time hunting with his friends and family.

By following the policy could cause the gun violence to go down in Oklahoma in the future and protect the citizens of the state from every being a victim of a shooting. The policy will prevent from any one filling like the victims love ones felt when they heard that the person that they love their whole live was gone. Because a person, had a bad day, lost their job, or just a person who had mental issues bought a gun legally and used it to attack innocent people including your love one.
