“A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.” This was written in 1787 over 200 years ago, when it was written it was intended for men to own their own guns and bullets and to be ready any minute if they were ever needed to defend our great country of America. 200 years later in our present day society we have men, women, and children dying every day by weapon of choice, guns. In America according to PewResearch.Org “There are by various estimates anywhere from 270 million to 310 million guns in the United States — close to one firearm for every man, woman and child.” But why is America so obsessed with guns?
