The Green Movement

Scientists have discovered that the activities of homo sapiens have resulted in environmental complications since ancient civilizations. Due to these complications the need for preserving the environment has become quite critical. Furthermore, people began to brainstorm on ideas to better the environment. As a matter of fact, actions of The Green Movement started early as the late 1600s. In this movement groups of people work to preserve the Earth’s environment (ProQuest Staff). The actions of those participating in The Green movement led scientist to observations and experiment. It was found, that a vast majority of scientists found living a green lifestyle would benefit the Earth’s environment, but there were, however, some scientists who contradicted this after their experiments and observations fought against The Green Movement. In all honesty, the problem is that participators of The Green Movement believe their actions, such as: recycling, conserving energy, and driving hybrid cars are actually beneficial to the Earth’s environment. The Green Movement is, however, a failure since there is not even a true definition to the word“green.” Many participating in The Green Movement are doing the world harm by trying to start a trend that could take years to make a difference. The keyword in all studies conducted on The Green Movement has been, if certain things were done, then there would be such great results! As a matter of fact, if The Green Movement was helping, then there would not be such a critical battle cry for preserving Earth.
