On a typical hot day, the twenty-eight of August was the first day of the fall 2016 semester. I was excited to attend my English Composition I and meet my instructor. I was able to write an essay without any struggle as I learned before in the English language Institute of Akron university. However, writing an academic essay needs a lot of practice, knowledge and that what I needed in order to improve my writing skills. As an ELI student I was able to write a formal essay with fundamental requirements but without sense of creativity. I started to learn new ways of writing essays, used my imagination and developed creative new methods to attract the reader 's attention. I wrote " It was not a regular day for me; the sky was blue and the sun was shining as if it was a typical summer day. The breezy air of morning refreshed me and I looked back to the departure terminal while I was walking hurriedly toward the airplane". Obviously, instead of writing "I went to the airport to take my flight and the weather was so hot" I wrote a descriptive writing to describe my situation at that time. Before taking "English Composition I" I could not write a summarized thesis statement but after I took the Review essay lessons I learned how to write my thesis statement, place it on the right position of my essay and support it with evidence on the essay paragraphs later. For instance, in my review essay "iPhone 7: The New Intelligent Leader" I wrote " The iPhone 7 is the best iPhone yet because it is now water resistant, the camera has a new and improved sensor and the iconic smooth curved design now comes in new beautiful colors". The previous quote explicit a summarized thesis straightly into the point with my judgment and after I imply the thesis, I will discuss these points in separated paragraphs with evidence and
