Inhale and Exhale. This is the moment you’ve been waiting for. Teachers and parents have been bugging you to fill out the applications for. College is here. This is not high school anymore, no more useless classes and they are defiantly not for free. The transition from high school to college is a big change. The three biggest tips for an incoming college freshman to have is to be involved in campus, managing your school work and studies and finally making new friends. Getting involved on campus is a must when you are a first year. This is how you get use to the campus and start to know your way around. Learning the ins and outs of campus are to your benefit because you are going to be looking all over for classes but if you already know your way around then you should have no problems finding buildings or student originations. Join clubs, you can find new people that might share the same interests as you. Join a club that you know you can benefit from, for example if you love pets join a club devoted to pets or animals. Go into college knowing your major because first we want to know you are at the best college for you and your major. For example you do not want to be going to a college that is strong at liberal arts when you want to be a doctor. It would be a waste of money to go to that school. The second reason is because you would be wasting time and money going into college blind. Another good thing to look for when looking for a major is to see if the job or profession is in demand. Do not come to school to be a singer or a dancer because those jobs are not in demand. For example if you wanted to go into mortician studies then you are more likely to get a job right out of college because not a lot of people do that job and people die every day for it to be a in demand job.
