My Favorite Teacher Essay

Have you ever had known someone that you just did not like being around? Freshmen year I had this English teacher named Mrs. Bruce. She was young looking, short with a high pitched voice, she looked nice but trust me she wasn’t. When I first met her I was a retaliating student which she did not like, weeks passing she had to give me a side talk, after that talk I became her teacher’s pet, and now with it being 4 years later she was my favorite teacher throughout high school. Bruce room just to say hi and see how she was doing. I did that because she had such a big impact on my high school career. She was the first teacher to see the good in me even when I did not show it. When I was applying for colleges she wrote my letters of recommendations, and she even helped me with my English papers from my sophomore year to my senior year, she even got me to be in the Best Buddies club. We had explained to her our history and how she has helped me throughout high school. I totally understood why Nakiyah was always talking about her, because Mrs. Bruce was an amazing teacher. For her birthday every year I would just get her something simple like a gift card to Starbucks but senior year I had gotten her a Nike jacket and Nike tights since I knew she liked to work out. Her class had thrown her a party and even though I was not her student anymore I still attended the party, because she was my favorite teacher. Finally, before I left for college I went to my old high school to say my goodbyes and she gave me nothing but words of encouragement and wisdom and I still thank her to this day. Now being in college I still keep in contact with her, and if I need any help or advice with English or just with college I can always ask
