A Memorable Decision I went to Lincoln High school for my past 4 years. For my first year in high school, I didn’t do much, I met a few new friends, but none of them became close friends with me. On the first day of school in sophomore year, I went to school early in the morning to talk to my counselor about schedule change, because I didn’t want to take P.E. during sophomore year, but she told me that I have to take it unless I join an academy. There are four academies in my school but I don’t know anything about any of them. My counselor recommended me to join the green academy since the other three academies were all full. The research papers require 10 pages or more, I had to write essays since middle school, I known writing a research paper is very different from writing an essay, a research paper contain more steps and details than a regular essay. The topic my teacher assigned us to do is to write about high school food waste. We had to create surveys for collect datas and give presentations in school, then we had to find a solution to save the food waste in our school, all this were just alike the internship I did. My group is working on the survey and collecting data. This whole research paper project made me feel like we have used all the knowledge we learned in green academy from the past three years.
