In my opinion the best part about grade 8 are the trips. There is always an overnight trip. All the grade 8’s in our school board go to either Montreal or Ottawa. You usually go there for three days. This is a very great reason to love grade 8 because you have never done an overnight trip and this is your first one

Eighth grade was one of the greatest school years of my life. This year was full of new experiences, and I have learned so much from them. In English class, we’ve learned a bunch of skills and did numerous activities. We learned about Anne Frank and the Holocaust. We had the opportunity to read many great books, all having a special and unique meaning to them. Our class also learned a variety of skills and strategies ranging from reading comprehension tips to learning how to use the comma. ELA this year was extremely informative and helpful but amusing at the same time.
I’m not going to lie, high school is tough but, in the end you realize that, it leaves you with a great experience and great memories. High School has its perks and disadvantages. In High School you tend to limit yourself. There are strict rules you have to follow and a principle you have to listen to. In High School you have a total of eight classes. It’s a schedule that you follow every day from 8:00am-3:30pm. In High School everybody is separated into their own groups. You try so hard to find the one that fits you the best or, you just create one yourself. It’s a place surrounded by people that care more about what people
to read this. Middle school isnt bad, its good so enjoy every minute of it. If I could go back and change anything, there would be a lot of things I would
What if you could go home free of the shackles of school, free of the restraints of our every day life, what if?Homework is work you are assigned at school to work on at home. Study Hall could have drastic change in the process of school work at home.
I have learned in my 8th grade experience that working hard is key to passing classes. Not only do you have to work hard, but you have to work smart. You need to be able to complete your work on time and correctly. If you can do this in 8th grade, then you should have a blast.
Ask yourself, how was your 8th grade year… Was it good, bad, fun, or stressful? Well most of my 8th grade year was bad but the ending actually turned out good. The start of my year was exciting, but that was just the beginning. As time went on and the work started to come in, that's when things turned south for me. I started stressing about everything I had to do, I was getting to overwhelmed. I would catch myself slipping constantly and it was worrying me because I didn't want to get held back a year. I slowly started to lose all interest in all of my work.
Middle school is so much better than grade school, because it seems like I’m learning more and having fun. I get to do stuff that I like and am able to be with my friends more.
This is the most important part of school. This is where grades matter most. This is where colleges start looking at people. Colleges are looking for people that are willing to do what it takes to be able to attend their colleges. High school is a little bit tougher and is where there is a lot of illegal drugs. High school ends on a graduation when twelfth grade is completed and the twelfth graders are going off to college. Then college comes. This is where it gets tough. People have to have their own schedules and know what their doing because they are now on their own. Classes are harder than you have ever imagined. You are put to the test of if you are ready to go on in life. Prepare for
We did so much, and it went by so fast, faster than any other previous year, and I wish it hadn't. My favorite part of this year was all of the trips. We went to Philadelphia and saw amazing buildings hundreds of years old such as the liberty bell and independence hall. We visited the Preschool down the road, and I made a new little friend. My favorite of all, Washington D.C. I got to spend 2 school days with three of my best friends still while learning. This was my favorite trip because I got to spend school hours with people on other teams, while still having fun. Eighth grade has more privileges than the other years, but you have to use them wisely. I wasn't exactly the best at using them wisely. Teachers knew me to be very sassy because I had quite the
ears. A big way on how to spot an 8th grader is by the size of their backpack. If it’s gigantic their probably an 8th grader, because going to your locker is a waste of valuable passing period time. I have been in school for nine years now and every year is new experiences, so far this year it has been very overwhelming with all the homework, projects, tests, etc.. But I have a feeling that i’m going to get used to it pretty fast. Three things teachers should know about us 8th graders is that most of us barely have any time for homework, people wake up early to go to school so we don’t focus that much in 1st hour, and finally most of us like to have a social life but they can’t because of homework.
8th grade, 8th grade from the opening day to the signing of the yearbooks. This is the year of memories, goodbyes, and regrets. 8th grade and I’m still realizing that there are people in the world that would die to go to a school like this. A school where every body knows everyone’s name, respects everyone, and where violence and fighting are about as common as the Yankees missing the playoffs. When I’m done with my homework and go to bed, as the days of 8th grade wind down, summer will come and go, and I will find myself in one of those giant, scary places called high school.
All of these reasons are my example of how eighth grade might be like.Like I said, it’s going to be scary at fist, then exciting, and last a educational year of school. You are not alone I will be there to trying to persue my goals, you are not going to be the only one.So looks like all of us got alot of work ahead of us.Make sure you have fun and remember to learn alot to graduate school.I know how you feel, you probably saying it’s going to be hard and boring. But it will pay off soon when you graduate and go to college. All the work you done will lead you to success and a exciting
I envision high school as an essential stepping stone for everyone. The era where every individual lacks the complete confidence in defining who they are or what they want to be. The four years of high school was the moment and opportunity to seek the interests that stood out to me the most. The experiences you make and the people you associate with are a crucial part of finding yourself.
I really like high school because you get to meet new people and you get to do more things. High school changed my way of acting and the way I react to things. High school really helped me a lot. I really like the new me I guess teachers got stricter I don’t know but they did really change me. I noticed how this year I stared caring more about my school work, and anything I had to do. Sometimes I would slack off but then I would I would
High school is a very important time because it is when students begin to plan their life. I have started to think about my options and where they will take me in life. I am striving to have the life I have always dreamed about. I want to be able to look back on my life and believe it was successful. I plan on being a psychiatrist and living in Florida by the time I am thirty. I know that there is a lot of work needed to achieve my goals, but I believe with careful planning I can do whatever I would like.
