Evil has plagued the lives of all creatures and has existed throughout all of time. The problem of evil is that since God created the world and is all omniscient; omnipotent; and omni-benevolent, and since a good thing strives to rid evil; and because there are no limits to an omnipotent being: then because God is all three the world would therefore not contain evil. But fact is that evil does exist and from this some conclude that God does not exist because he would possess all three omni’s and rid evil. He knows of evil because he created it and had knowledge of what it would be, but he does not stop it even though he is omnipotent then that would explain the conclusion against God’s existence due to the problem of evil. If he exists then why does he allow suffering? pain? betrayal? or death? These are all evils and a good being should seek out the eradication of these evils. If God exists, then these evil’s and others like it should be gone according to the idea that good must smother out evil. There are many debates over the problem of evil and God varying from the possibility of denying evil to more complex arguments of the balance of good and evil. Some would argue that if good comes from evil, and evil from good, then it makes it sound like evil is a necessity for good and that God cannot create good without the creation of evil which in essenc...

In conclusion, good exists while evil does as well, this is because without evil, there can be no such thing as good, and without good, there can also be no evil, they are yin and yang. Good has to be the start for there to be “good”, that is why good was created first, and then evil. If it was the other way and if we deny this then all our actions, choices, everything just amounts to evil which we believe to ourselves is not true. The problem of evil is a seemingly valid argument and has deductively valid points to support it, but as explored in this paper it is concluded that the problem of evil is not a sufficient enough refute to deny the possibility of an all-powerful, all-good, omniscient, omnipotent, and omni-benevolent God. The response provided in this paper may be wrong, but only truth at the end will be our answer.
