Globalization, is the buzzword of today, it defined as a process of some cultural aspects such as wold view, products, ideas as well as mutual sharing to exchange then caused international integration. Over recent years, an increasing amount of evidence has shows that along with economy and technology development, globalization from economy, technology, environment and culture is more and more important and obviously in daily life. In other words, globalization is a new phenomenon and basic character in our modern life. As a result, many people think that globalization brings some advantages. In other words, technology development closely depends on globalization. Technology development from three parts: Information technology, communication technology and transport technology . Globalization makes people in any part of the world can share information with any topic, from download music and movies to search any questions, from shopping to play games. Communication technology allows people in countries around the world to immediately contact each another through E-mail or chat program by internet, mobile phone. According to eMarketer expects the number of smartphone users worldwide will surpass 2 billion in 2016 (Emarketer.com, 2014). Communication technology also including Global Positioning Systems (GPS), that provide accurate information on locations on the earth by satellites and provide information on weather patterns around world (Montana.edu, 2016). Transport technology has affected to transformation in land, rail, sea and air travel (Sharma, 2005). An obvious example is in 1938, a flight from London to Brisbane, Australia, spend 11 days and included over two dozen scheduled stops, but, nowadays, people can make that journey in just 22 hours, and with a layover in Hong Kong, pay less than $2000 for a round trip ticket (Novak, …show more content…

As the world becomes more globalized more and more people are beginning to abuse the environment and fall out of touch with their relationship with it. Estimates indicate that international shipping causes 2-3% of energy-related CO2 emissions, in a long distance of ship travel to transport cargo, and it is a large number. And on a per-ton-kilometer basis, a cargo ship emits just 15-21g of CO2, as compared to a truck 's equivalent 50g (Ghemawat, 2012). Globalization is to global warming by transportation emitted carbon dioxide and industries heavy reliance on fossil fuels. Since the 1880s, the average annual atmospheric temperature is rose above 14.5 °C (58 °F), particularly in the Northern hemisphere (Osborn, 2016). However, global warming is not the only environmental problem. Globalization also caused overuse of natural resources and pollution due to increased demand removal of ecosystems due to population growth, and deforestation has occurred world-wide: 11 million acres cut for commercial industries (Khan, 2013). From news we can know the industrial waste that is generated has been laden on ships and dumped in oceans. By reason of globalization and industrialization, a variety of chemicals have been thrown into the soil which resulted into growth of many weeds and plants, it has put pressure on the available land resources.
