The globe has shrunk and become a little living environment, as people from diverse ethnic groups can easily interact with each other without any regards to places, race, color, religion, wealth, and gender orientation. Globalization and modernization have played a significant role in bringing people from all around the world together, which seem to decrease the size of the planet earth. In this essay to avoid confusion, globalization, and global citizens are used interchangeably. A global citizen is when someone can easily connect with another ethical communities and adapts to the norms and values of that environment. The more (we) human can unite and settle on the side our values to recognize other communities; the world will be safer. If Growing up in a country where three foreign languages (French, Spanish, and English) have imposed on the majority; it was rough for a young child like me to find. Spain colonized Haiti in the 1500s, then the French came to take over the island and made it the best prosperous colony of the time. During the time, they imported slaves from Africa and brought them to the Caribbean under harsh and involuntary labor in the plantations. Fast forward to 1804, slaves upraised against their masters and declared independence in the following year. When French brought slaves with them, they had spoken a language, which was Creole. The majority has spoken this language since the country was born. But, because Spaniard the first colonizer spoke Spanish, Haitians till today have taught Spanish in schools. Similar practice goes for French, which considers the one of the country’s mothers tongue. In the combat for independence, the people of mix color (Affranchir) combined with slaves as one to overthrow French colonizers. Those Affranchir were in small numbers of the population with a lot of resources, money, and the ability to speak both languages French and Creole. While the majority speaks Creole, the minority eager to imitate their colonizers’ culture, thus imposed French as one of the main Many great power countries (USA, UK, and France) came as one to find a solution and to stop the virus from spreading. People throughout the world came together to support African people, some of them donate money to fight the cause. The 2010 earthquake that hit Haiti, many countries around the world sent their assistance to help the population in which that aid had a great impact on Haitian.
