Following are the Objectives of this paper:
• To explore Indian Glass Industry and its impact on Indian economy.
• To study the challenges and threats to Indian Glass Industry.
• To study the strengths and opportunities available to Indian Glass Industry.
• To observe the sustainability of the growth of the industry.
• To document the growth trend and future prospects of Indian glass industry.
• Case study: Hindustan Glass and Industries Limited.
The Term paper involved an Exploratory Research design. The data used in the project is secondary data collected from various sources. Also, basic statistical tools like pie-charts, tables and histograms are used to analyse the data.
Limitation of this term paper was that the secondary data was used which varies person to person. This research can be extended by someone else in a better way if primary data is collected.
DATA ANALYSIS
There are three main segments of Glass industry - Container glasses, Flat glass and others which includes The largest segment is container glass(55%) in the glass sector. Next largest segment is Flat g...
The variety of methods and data collection within the research design provided the author with a greater ability to support her thesis.
The authors of this article have outlined the purpose, aims, and objectives of the study. It also provides the methods used which is quantitative approach to collect the data, the results, conclusion of the study. It is important that the author should present the essential components of the study in the abstract because the abstract may be the only section that is read by readers to decide if the study is useful or not or to continue reading (Coughlan, Cronin, and Ryan, 2007; Ingham-Broomfield, 2008 p.104; Stockhausen and Conrick, 2002; Nieswiadomy, 2008 p.380).
...m first-hand sources by means of surveys, observations or personal experimentation. The data for this research paper were gathered from various sources such as electronic, journals, articles, academic books and from internet sources.
Quantitative method will be used in this research to collect the related data. “The meaning of quantitative is something that can be calculated, it is applied in the statistical analysis due to ability to provide digit. The qualitative method is always used in big size of survey” (AIU, 2012). Since the quantitative data is full with number, it is not di...
Research can be classed into three perspectives; 1. Application of Research, 2. Objectives in Undertaking Research and 3. Inquiry Mode (Patton : 2002). Regarding the application of research, for the purposes of this paper, Applied Research has been conducted as opposed to Pure Research. Since the nature of the overall study is to be able to take and apply the principles discovered from the research for future benefit, applied research is more suitable. Pure research tends to revolve ...
The choice of method was performed considering the problem to be investigated and the objectives to which the study aims. The weighting on these aspects led to the development of an exploratory investigation. Exploratory research aims to approach the researcher of its subject matter, allowing the identification of relevant concepts and variables, set priorities in research or suggest research hypotheses. Thus, the exploratory research is seen in a qualitative approach providing "better view and understanding of the problem context"
Secondary sources of data like internet were used to conduct the exploratory study. Relevant variables were generated and questionnaire was developed to obtain primary data from the sample. 81 respondents were selected based on the convenience of the researcher. Data collected was analysed using statistical tools like frequency charts, pie diagrams etc. Requisite conclusions were arrived at and recommendations put forth.
An SPSS data analysis was conducted to synthesis and analyse the raw results. Through the SPSS software, a t-test was conducted for the three sets of data obtained. For hypothesis 1 and 2, an independent t-test was conduced and for hypothesis 3 a repeated measures t-test was conducted.
Therefore, the objective in this chapter is to indicate how the data would be collected and analysed. The process and methodology of research used to collect the data for this dissertation will be explained in detail in this chapter.
The study will be divided into five chapters. Chapter one is the general introduction and background of the topic. It will further examine the statement of the problem, objectives, and the scope, significance of the study and the organization of the study. Chapter two focuses on the literature review relevant to the topic
Choosing which glassware to use is an important thing to do. Aside from enhancing your table presentation, it can also add to the elegance of your style and make ordinary dining to elegant and entertaining ones. Beyond the aesthetics, specialized glassware is created to complement the drink it is intended to serve. You would not want to have the same glass garage door as your wine glass right? Therefore there are different types of glass you have to consider when deciding what to use as your glassware.
Due to the nature of the study, a number of limitations and delimitations are imposed upon the research, so the following points should be taken in to account:

The study is mostly exploratory in nature and is completely based on the primary research and partially secondary data will be considered for taking assumptions, trends, and others
This chapter is about to determine how the study was conducted for the study results that can be obtained more accurately in the process of analyzing the information. A methodology may be selected from a variety of research designs thought to have compatibility to achieve and fulfil the goals and needs of the study. The methodological approaches that have been chosen also the tools used in order to get information are determined. There are a few parts in this chapter that include the framework, research method; research subjects include the sample, population and sampling, data collection method, questionnaires design and also the data analysis.
