George Strait was born May eighteenth, 1952 in Poteet, Texas. He was destined to John Strait, Sr.( January 11,1922 - June 4, 2013) and Doris couser ( June 26, 1930 - January 30, 2010). He experienced childhood in Pearsall, in Frio County, where his dad was a middle school math educator and the proprietor of a two thousand-section of land (810 ha) cattle farm outside of Big Wells, Texas. George was raised on a family-possessed homestead in close-by Pearsall, Texas, where he contemplated farming at Southwest Texas State University. He and his family worked at the farm on the weekends and in the summers. At the point when George was in third grade, his mom and dad separated, and his mom moved away with his sister, Pency. George and his sibling John, Jr. on the other hand "Mate" ( 1950 - 2009), were raised by their dad. He acquired the Entertainer of the year award in 1989 and 1990. George had Album of the year for “ Blue Clear Sky” and Single of the year for “ Check Yes or No”.
